The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tucker and Ashley’s Plan Is Solid – Diane Targeted For Takedown

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) believes Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) best bet is to get Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) on her side.

Doing so would drive the intended target, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), mad. Phyllis knows that she owes Tucker. But he is keeping in close contact with her, so she does not get ideas in her head.

Tucker told Phyllis he assumed she was considering various escape hatches after the plan involving Carson (no last name known for the Emergency Medical Technician played by Walter Belenky) was put into motion.

But The Young and the Restless viewers will see what happens if Carson testifies on her behalf and if Phyllis demonstrates that she is trying to throw Diane off her game.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Works Direct Angle

While Tucker was purposely meeting with Phyllis, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was chatting Diane up. Davidson’s character wants to get Diane more than Tucker, but she is unsure if Phyllis can deliver.

Ashley has not trusted Diane since Tucker cheated on her many years ago. No pretense exists between the ladies. But Diane is trying to get along as she tries to focus on her upcoming wedding to Jack.

            

Diane told Tucker and Phyllis that Stafford’s character would be their ideal ally. Phyllis shrugged that comment off, with Diane not realizing a pressured alliance already existed.

Phyllis was not shy in telling Tucker that he would not involve her daughter in his scheme. Tucker played off his mention of Summer as related to making good with Jack.

Tucker knows he holds the hammer over Phyllis. He paid a tidy sum to Carson to lie about eye-witnessing her self-defense act against Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and reinforced that more dollars would reverse that course.

Considering her history fans likely believe Phyllis might not be able to remain subservient to Tucker for long. But her freedom depends on his benevolence while knowing he is acting with malevolent intent.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – What If Diane Jenkins Learns Too Much?

One hole in Tucker’s plan is Diane’s creativity. She never delivered on the promises she made to Tucker when he returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin, last year. Plus, Diane out-maneuvered Jeremy when turning state’s evidence against him.

So, projecting that Diane could learn about the plot Tucker and Ashley hatched with Phyllis is not a stretch. If that happens, Phyllis could face serious jail time and the roof would blow off the Abbott mansion where Jack, Diane, Ashley, and Tucker live on Y&R.
