The information Victor learned, on its own, could derail Tucker’s plans. But what would the recast character St. John was hired to play do then?

Tucker is a resourceful individual. Based on how he has responded to Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson), it is fair to suspect that he has contingency plans for any scenario.

Victor knowing about Audra being planted inside Chancellor-Winters is one thing. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) learning about it will be another, with resulting consequences if not handled with a good and honest answer.

Tucker gained credibility when Devon deduced that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was the top executive Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was working with on his hostile takeover plan. But Devon is likely to react badly when he learns that his biological father had a mole at CW.

Tucker wants a relationship with his son that goes beyond good feelings. He stated that Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) family should be running her company.

Victor determined that Tucker likely wants to run CW with Devon. That makes sense because teaming with his son plays into the Chancellor family legacy and is strategic.

Tucker could purchase a significant portion of CW’s initial public offering stock and still not have control. But if Devon partners with him, then that father and son team will run the show.

Tucker says that he loves Ashley and wants to reconcile. Ashley recently told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that Tucker’s explanation of why he was in contact with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was believable.
