The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) texted Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), who surprisingly responded. Fans are right to question the odd nature of their relationship. It appears that Audra has feelings for Tucker.

St. John’s character has been open in saying that he loves Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and intends to remarry her. Yet, he is maintaining a connection with Audra that appears to be calculated rather than slightly romantic.

Audra’s gratitude for Tucker seemingly morphed into a physical relationship before Silver’s character arrived in Genoa City, Wisconsin. He paid for her schooling and initially appeared to be someone she found repulsive. But their most recent encounter disproves that conjecture.

Tucker is not staying at the fabled Chancellor mansion. He was not left that part of his mother’s estate. Instead, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) bequeathed him her record collection.

Audra was someone Tucker believed he could count on to realize his goals. But he cut her off after Devon exposed their connection.

Tucker’s apology at the Phoenix was more calculated than heartfelt. He wants Audra to continue working for him and to remain the woman he turns to because Ashley is not available or willing to be with him. Audra recognizes the truth, yet still offers him comfort. That implies she has developed feelings for him beyond any business tie.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) shared a deep appreciation for music with the man he considers his true father, Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John). Devon treasures Neil’s records, with many scenes reminding him and the audience of Neil while the vinyl spins.

Neil’s passing meant Devon’s only remaining father on this earth was Tucker. The recast to St. John enabled Devon’s fractured paternal backstory could be revisited.

The refresh has taken various turns to date, leaving Devon unwilling to have a relationship with Tucker because he planted Audra as a mole inside Chancellor-Winters. Understandably, Devon is holding Tucker to the Neil standard. But he should not because it is unfair and prevents both men from developing a bond that should exist.

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) has a contract with Chancellor-Winters that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) made happen. The deal Lily brokered with Daniel could soon be lost while CW is undergoing what she recently termed growing pains.

Nate correctly suspects that Devon’s behavior is creating problems at CW. So, with a chance to make his first big score for Newman Media, Nate is very interested in securing the rights to Daniel’s hyped gaming platform on Y&R.
