The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, April 14 – Amanda’s New Job Offer – Nick Confronts Adam – Phyllis & Chelsea Spar

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 14, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will talk briefly with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at the Newman Ranch about it being Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) first day as CEO of Newman Enterprises. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will come by later and talk with Nikki alone, with Nikki urging her daughter to talk things over with Victor.

Victoria will balk, saying that she’ll fight this fight on her own. Victoria will hear from Nikki that Victor swore to her that he didn’t kill AJ Montalvo, and she’ll wonder why Victor would let Adam become CEO If that were true. Nikki will say that there must be more to the story.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman & Chelsea Lawson Revel In Their Victory

Meanwhile, over at Newman Enterprises, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will drop in on Adam on his first day. Chelsea and Adam will rehash how Adam blackmailed Victor with the information on how he covered up AJ’s death all those years ago in Kansas. Adam will wish that it wasn’t this way, and that it was Victor’s idea for him to become CEO.

Next on Y&R, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will wake up together in Phyllis’ Grand Phoenix suite, then make love. Eventually, Nick will say that he needs to go see Victor, and they’ll agree to regroup for dinner later that night.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily Winters Offers Amanda Sinclair A New Job

Down in the Grand Phoenix lobby, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will wrap up a meeting, and once Billy takes off, Lily will spot Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and the ladies will talk. Lily will ask Amanda for some advice regarding a contract, then she’ll ask Amanda if she’d like to be the attorney for their division. Amanda will say that she’s unsure and she’ll suggest that Lily discuss it with Billy first.

Over at Society, Chelsea will meet with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about their new fashion business. The ladies will discuss Chelsea’s new maternity line, as well as about the need for a baby shower soon. Chelsea will relay Adam’s new position to Chloe, noting that she’s proud of Adam and that Adam’s move to CEO is a permanent one.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Abbott Is Surprised About The Prospect Of Working With Amanda Sinclair

Next on Y&R, Billy and Lily will regroup at Chancellor Media. Billy will vent a bit about Adam being CEO of Newman Enterprises, then Lily will broach the idea of Amanda joining the team in a legal capacity. Billy will be surprised, but he’ll think it’s a good idea, and as he leaves, Lily will call Amanda to say that Billy agrees about bringing her on board. Amanda will say that she needs to think about it.

Back at the Newman Ranch, Nikki will relay to Victor that Adam is giving a live interview, and she’ll fret that Nick doesn’t yet know the news about Adam being CEO. Nikki will ask Victor why he allowed Adam to become CEO, and she’ll keep questioning him, although Victor won’t want to talk about it. Nikki will leave, while Victor flashes back to AJ dead in the barn back in Kansas.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Newman Fumes As He Learns About Adam Newman’s New Position As CEO

Next on Y&R, at Crimson Lights, Nick will see Victoria and he’ll want to talk as he’s just read the press release about Adam becoming CEO. Victoria will say that she’ll explain after Adam’s interview. They’ll watch, but after a while, Nick will quit and ask Victoria to tell him what happened.

Victoria will tell Nick all about Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) article and about how she can’t understand why Victor let Adam win this battle. Meanwhile, across the establishment, Amanda will see Billy arrive and she’ll bolt. Billy will talk with Victoria, telling her that he knows that she’ll be able to handle Adam and Victor. Victoria will say that she could have a story for him at some point.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Confronts Chelsea Lawson

Back at Society, Phyllis will arrive and see Adam’s live interview as Chelsea is watching it. Phyllis will needle Chelsea about how Adam must have done something underhanded to get the CEO spot. Chelsea and Phyllis will spar, and through the course of their conversation, Chelsea will learn that Nick and Phyllis are back together.

Finally, on Tuesday’s new episode of Y&R, Nick will arrive at Newman Enterprises to see Adam. Nick will tell Adam that he won’t get away with this, and Adam will respond that he already has.
