The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Tuesday, August 26, 2025! In tomorrow’s episode, fans can expect Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to do a little bonding.

Victor Newman’s Blackmail
Fans watched as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) summoned Cane. The two men talked, and the patriarch revealed some interesting information.
He claimed that Colin Atkinson (last played by Tristan Rogers) performed one last scam before dying. Cane was blindsided by this information. In fact, he seemed downright baffled. Whether it’s true or not, Victor got Cane to make an agreement.

Billy Abbott’s Bonding Session
After that bombshell, Cane will have another meeting. This one will be with Billy, who will bring drinks. The man will be hoping to get Cane to open up, hopefully about some of his secrets or long-term plans.
However, Cane is mostly concerned about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the damaged relationship with his children.
Cane Ashby’s Missing Years
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 26 reveal that Cane will open up about some of his missing years. Knowing Cane, he won’t tell Billy too much, but might mention a few clues.

The late Tristan Rogers will appear in this episode. The actor reprised his infamous role as Colin Atkinson, and filmed scenes before he passed away.
Depending on how Billy takes the conversation, he could actually bond with Cane. Even though Billy is playing Cane to protect Jabot, I wonder if he will feel some empathy toward the guy.
While everyone thinks Cane is a bad guy, maybe there is a reason why he’s going so far. It could take everyone by surprise, especially if he somehow earns redemption.

Fans can also expect Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to get freaked out by Billy’s bold moves. Even though she supports Billy, she is worried about what Cane is going to do next. So, Sally might continue to push Billy to get answers and intel.
There might also be more scenes of Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). Although he is working for Cane again, there could be some complications.
Holden seems like a decent guy, but who gets tangled up in messes. So, I wonder how big of a mess this Cane situation will end up being for Holden?
There might also be an update on Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin). The blonde felt satisfied after exposing Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). However, could Claire end up going too far?

The Y&R better ‘up’ this story line fast. Cane is downright boring. He’s got beautiful eyes but still boring difficult to hear and just not a very exciting person. I would rather have the old Cane back.
