The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday August 27: Nick Celebrates Custody Win, Chelsea Feels Adam’s Pain, and Mariah Hangs Out With Theo

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday August 27th indicate that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will celebrate a victory in the custody battle, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will feel sympathy for her ex-husband Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) hangs out with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).

At Nick’s house, he tells Chelsea that he’s confident that the judge will sign off on Adam’s petition. Summer Newman (Hunter King) arrives with Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) to go over their case. Summer agrees to testify for her dad and they’re feeling confident about the case, but Brittany advises everyone to be on their best behavior.

Nick’s at the courthouse and wonders why Adam isn’t there. Judge Sanders (Joseph C. Phillips) says that if all parties aren’t present, he’ll be forced to reschedule. Brittany tries to convince the judge not to reschedule, but he says he must speak with Adam before making a ruling. Meanwhile, Summer gets a message from Chelsea, who says Adam refuses to come.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Christian Newman Coming Home For Good

The judge cancels the hearing much to the dismay of Summer and Nick. Sanders issues a contempt warning to Summer, then orders her out of the courtroom. The judge once again tries to cancel the hearing, but Nick pleads his case. Nick says his life has been torn apart without his son, but Adam is doing the right thing.

Nick makes a comment about a technicality keeping him away from Christian and this infuriates the judge. Brittany reprimands Nick, who apologizes, then begs the judge to let Christian come home. Nick meets Christian at Crimson Lights and tells the boy the good news, he’s coming home with Nick for good.

Adam is at the park looking at photos of Christian on his phone. Later Adam is in Crimson Lights when Chelsea comes in. She asks if he’s going to be at the hearing and he says no, he’s already done his part.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Newman Stops By For A Visit

As the hearing is going on, Chelsea is talking with Adam. She believes he genuinely cares about Christian and wants to be part of the boy’s life. Adam denies her claim before leaving the coffee house.

At the park, Chelsea brings Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to see Adam. He thanks her, then Chelsea say she’s going to let them hang out. She tells Adam he’s a good father and knows how much it hurt to lose Christian. Adam promises the events from his past won’t affect Connor, and Chelsea says there’s still some good left in Adam. Chelsea returns his mother’s handkerchief and says to hold on to it so Connor can give it to his future wife. Adam hugs her, then he and Connor go play.

Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is in the bushes, chewing gum and watching the two.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Receives A Warning

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) return from their honeymoon. The arrive at their apartment, and Lola is surprised to see Kyle has ordered new furniture. The couple are relaxing in their living room, Kyle suggests a way to pass the time. But Lola says he’ll have to wait because she has a surprise for him.

Theo is strolling in the park, talking on the phone with Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow). After he ends the call, he runs into Kyle, who tells him to leave Zoe alone. Theo suggests inviting Zoe to an opening, but Kyle once again warns him. Theo tells Kyle, “Welcome back. I missed you.” As Theo’s leaving, Summer is coming to the park. Summer sits with Kyle and the two talk.

She doesn’t want to mention the custody hearing, then the discussion turns to Theo. Summer calls him a jerk, then tell Kyle she knows about the incident with Zoe, but promises to keep it a secret. Kyle says he’s not going to tell Lola for fear that she’ll freak out, but Summer warns him it’ll cause more damage if he keeps it a secret.

Later Kyle returns home to Lola, who has made snacks and has a baseball game on the television. Kyle mentions that he ran into Theo, but drops the subject as the couple watches the game. After the game, Kyle carries Lola into the shower.

At Society, Theo apologizes to Mariah for his behavior. He says that the need to get along for work, and tells her that with their teamwork they’ll accomplish a lot. Mariah gives Theo a chance to explain his plan. He tells her about two of his clients who have potential and Mariah agrees to work with them. When she learns they’re based in Chicago, Mariah inquires why Theo is still in Genoa City.

Later Theo introduces Mariah to his two clients, Mariah makes a joke about them not trusting Theo, then the group indulge in shots. As they talk business, the two women said they’re interested in signing with Mariah. Summer enters the restaurant along with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), who are stunned to see Mariah and Theo drinking together. Summer gets Theo to leave with her, while Tessa comments about Mariah’s new friendship. Mariah assures Tessa not to worry because she’s got Theo exactly where she wants him. Later, Theo makes a similar comment about Mariah to Summer.
