Kyle won’t give her any details on what he saw that day at the apartment, but that doesn’t deter Summer. She plans to snoop through Phyllis phone and bails on their meeting to do it.

Lily feels now that she knows the truth, she cannot live a lie and believes this is the only way Devon will forgive her. Charlie is against it, but Neil understands what Lily is saying. She hopes that the police believe it was an accident too but she is sure she will be arrested, booked and arraigned but has no idea about the charges. She hired Michael. Cane comes in saying he doesn’t agree with her decision but he will always stand by her side.

Ashley wants to get back to work and leaves for her office with Jack. Lauren wants to have lunch with Michael but he tells her about Lily going to the police. In Ashley’s office, Jack tells her about Billy’s gambling but she isn’t shocked by that nor him being drunk with power. Jack mentions that the yacht is something Billy probably won while gambling; Ashley suddenly wants to go to accounting to see how he is using company funds.

Lily Confesses To Paul

Michael hears Lily’s side of the story as Cane insists Lily didn’t remember anything. Paul (Doug Davidson) is coming to the office and reminds them when he comes in, he is the Chief of Police and no one’s friend and they are to let him do his job. Michael asks Cane to leave the room with Paul telling him to close the door. Paul records Lily’s confession, that she ran the red light that caused the accident and she is the reason Hilary is dead. Michael stops her and asks to speak to his client. Paul says, “I think you better!”

Paul reviews the witness statement and tells Lily it departs from her initial statement. Lily gets frustrated as Michael defends her. Paul asks her to continue, Lily keeps talking as Michael interrupts her but she continues to say she feels guilty and she has been sitting on the information for a few days. Paul says she should have come to him immediately and this is up to the DA and steps outside to make a call. Cane returns to the room and Lily asks him to hold her.

Paul returns to the office informing Michael that Christine (Lauralee Bell) advised him to get new statements from all parties involved and then she will decide to proceed. Lily asked if he could tell them any more; Paul said he would leave that to their attorney.

Phyllis Is Happy Lily Is Confessing

Phyllis meets with Lauren, who is very upset about Billy still; Lauren is willing to do about anything to get out of this partnership and regain control of her own company. Lauren reveals that Lily is talking to the police about the car accident. Phyllis is happy she is confessing as she was ready to go to the authorities herself!

Ashley Furious At Billy

Ashley closes the office door and tells Billy she just found out from accounting that 60% of next quarters development budget has been reallocated. He isn’t surprised as he signed off on it. She demands to know where she is supposed to create a new product if she doesn’t have the funding? Billy says he is CEO and she is COO, and that one letter makes a big difference.

She confronts him on his gambling. He stands up and says they can rumble if she wants to have a board fight. If she wants to try and stop what he already put into motion with those funds it’s too late. He admits he is launching a new project that he is not at liberty to discuss with her at this time. Ashley feels this is risky and probably shady, Billy throws in her face that both Jack and her are probably angry because of the blood Abbott cause and they need to start showing trust, as it will only be better for everyone.

Cane asks him to cut to the chase, and Michael says if the judge wants to make an example of Lily, she could be looking upto 20 years in the State Penitentiary.

20 YEARS SEEMS EXCESSIVE BUT LILY IS GUILTY & SHOULD PAY FOR HER NEGLIGENCE
IN A AWAY THAT WILL DETER OTHERS FROM
OPERIATING A VEHICLE IN AN AGITATED
STATE, AS LILY WAS CLEARLY IN THE WRONG.

    1. Nieecy says

It is not all Lily, Shauna and Charlie started this mess, Hillary did not have to get in the car, there is more to blame than just Lily. She was driving true, but this mess started with Shauna calling Charlie for a hook up.

  2. Norma says

It was an accident. There were two adults arguing in that car and neither were paying attention. This wasn’t intentional. Yes, Lily was driving but she wasn’t arguing with herself. Hilary was arguing with her right back. Lily should not have to spend 20 years in prison for an accident. Phyllis didn’t spend a month in jail for intentionally running over Christine and Paul several years back. So all this talk about justice from Phyllis or anyone on this show is funny to me.
