Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, August 8 reveal that Phyllis will do everything in her power to protect Summer. Phyllis doesn’t want to go to prison for the rest of her life, especially since killing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) was self defense.

However, Phyllis’ crimes aren’t just murder. Plus, she didn’t turn herself in right away.

At the same time, Phyllis sobbing in the weekly preview could compel a judge to be more lenient. The only problem is that Summer’s freedom is at risk. So, Phyllis will want to do what she can to protect her daughter. After all, it was Phyllis’ scheme that ruined Summer’s life.

On Tuesday, August 8, fans can also expect Abby to target Diane. Abby is concerned about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane’s relationship. At the same time, Abby was trying to get Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to repair her relationship with Jack.

However, Adam went to Audra and blackmailed her. Audra knows the criminal cover-up could destroy both her and Tucker’s careers. Audra will turn to Nate for advice.
