The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Tuesday, December 9, 2025. In the next episode, fans can expect the episode to feature Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) love story. It is their 20th anniversary, and Michael goes all out to wow his wife.

Michael Baldwin’s Anniversary

This will be a standalone episode that only features Michael and Lauren. The special occasion is their 20th anniversary.

The lawyer is always looking for ways to impress and wow his wife. No matter how angry Lauren gets with him, he always finds a way to soften her up again.

This is especially true for anniversaries. This time, Michael has a blackjack table set up. I initially thought it was a poker table – oops, my bad, I’m not a gambler.

Blackjack Surprise

The couple actually got engaged during a casino setup proposal. After all, they did meet at a blackjack table. Michael has a makeshift blackjack table set up. Lauren sits in a gorgeous dress all done up fabulously, as always.

The lady sips her cocktail as Michael slowly flips over three cards, one at a time. When he is done, they spell out “Happy 20th Anniversary.”

Surprises & Romance

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, December 9 reveal that Michael will likely have more surprises for his true love as well. The man really goes all out when it comes to romancing Lauren.

Flashback Scenes

The standalone episode will likely also feature Michael and Lauren talking about all the milestones in their relationship. That will probably lead to some flashback scenes.

It will be a nice change of pace from the Los Angeles storyline with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

What Else to Expect

However, many times in soaps, anniversary episodes sometimes precede a bombshell. So, is this just the calm before the next storm? With Michael’s loyalty to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and the AI program starting to be used, things could get complicated and messy very soon!

Will Lauren forgive Michael for keeping more secrets regarding his work with Victor? Or could this be the couple’s final anniversary celebration?
