Devon (Bryton James) will offer to come on the trip with Amanda and Lily, (Christel Khalil) but Amanda won’t want distractions. Devon will be happy to hear that he’s a “distraction,” and he and Amanda will flirt, even talking about sharing a first kiss. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Devon won’t kiss just yet, but after they part ways for the evening, Amanda will send Devon a “kiss” emoji and smile big.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Faith Newman Loses Her Cool
Next on Y&R, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will join Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) at Society. Faith will be bristly toward Phyllis, and when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) arrives and explains that her trip with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) got postponed, Faith will look put off.
It won’t be long before Faith loses it, ranting that Nikki just wants to spend time with her to lecture her on the perils of drinking. Faith will taunt Nikki and Nick about all their worst fears for her, then she’ll run off to the restroom. Nick will try to go after Faith, but Nikki will tell him that she should talk with Faith.
Y&R Spoilers – Nikki Newman Reassures Her Granddaughter
A bit later, Nikki will ask Faith to step outside with her, while Nick and Phyllis remain inside. Nikki will reassure Faith, telling her that she knows what it’s like to be young and misunderstood. Nikki will wedge in a comment about Faith’s genetic predisposition for alcoholism, but she’ll promise never to judge her.
Faith will understand where Nikki’s coming from, and she’ll ultimately go back inside where she’ll apologize to Nick for her earlier outburst. Faith, Nick, and Phyllis will decide to start their evening over again, and Faith will even make an effort to get along with Phyllis.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Interferes With Some Plans
Next on Y&R, over at Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Johnny Abbott (Ryan and Holden Hare), Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri), and Lily will all be laughing and having a good time when Victoria walks in. Victoria will basically invite herself to dinner, but then the kids will say that they want to have pizza at the house.
Lily will tell everyone to go on without her, and they’ll all head to Victoria’s house. Johnny and Katie will tell Victoria how much they like Lily, and Victoria won’t like that one bit. Billy will ask Victoria if it bothers her that he took the kids to work, and Victoria will try to throw it back on Billy, wondering if he’s the one questioning what he wants.
Billy will politely tell Victoria that he’s in a great place in his life, and he wants them all to get along. Later in the evening, Billy and Lily will meet at the Grand Phoenix for a nightcap, and they’ll talk about Victoria not liking Lily spending time with Johnny and Katie. Billy will think it might take Victoria some time to adjust.
Y&RSpoilers – Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor Comes To A Realization
Next on Y&R, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will discuss their options when it comes to having a baby. As they sit at the Chancellor mansion, Abby will reveal all the research she’s done, and she’ll have it boiled down to a couple options: adoption or surrogacy.
Chance will think that they should go with what their hearts tell them, and Abby will reveal that she thinks surrogacy is the right option. Chance will agree, and after they discuss this for a while, Abby will note that it would be nice if there was someone close to them that they could ask to be the surrogate. Abby will say that she thinks she knows just the right woman.

All the lines in the world Devon says about Amanda being " a completely different person" isn't going make this tacky mess feel right, it's just nasty. There's no different voice, the personality isn't that different, it's not convincing enough to feel he would love Amanda in her own right. The sooner this vulgar "any sibling will do' story moves on the better. Devons character deserves better than this incestuous garbage.
Also today Faith and Phyllis, their relationship has never felt believable. No child would experience what Faith has with Phyllis, the continually breaking up her parents and be ok with the step mom. If Faith was going to hate or resent anyone of all people it would be Phyllis. Yes, Adam kidnapped her but she was a baby. Phyllis on the other hand has caused her mother and herself heartache her entire life. She's old enough to know cancer can be caused by stress, so a believable story would be to really hate and want to hurt Phyllis. I'd like to see Faith shift focus from alcohol to realizing Phyllis has done the real damage to her family and her life. Faith's a great young actress, I'd like to see her become sinister and devious and screw with Phyllis's head in a Hitchcock kind of fashion.
Really? Sharon is no saint. Didn't she return the favor to Phyllis when she was married to Nick and got pregnant with Faith. Plus, she slept with his brother on and off. She fell in love with Adam and tried to stop him from marrying Chelsea. What does that say about her? She's still in love with Faith's kidnapper. Ray is a safe bet for her. She loves what he represents. She is still in love with Adam. She proposed to Ray after dreaming about Adam.
How is it incest with Amanda? She's not his sister. Hillary became his wife right before she died. They didn't get a chance to sleep together as husband and wife. Hillary had no problem leaving Neil for Devon. So, she wasn't a saint. I don't see any evidence that Amanda is a vindictive person and her character as Hillary was. That's a totally different personality.
I just don't like Devon sleeping with the twins. My mother's a twin and I wouldn't be happy with my dad sniffing around my aunt if my mom passed. My aunt wouldn't be impressed and our family would be disgusted. My husband even said this morning apart from being a little less snarky there's not much difference between the women. I would rather see Devon with Elana or even Amanda's sister but the twin thing is just nasty.
I don't disagree, Sharon is no saint. My point was it doesn't feel right Faith would be so ok with Phyllis given the family history. How many times has the little girl/bridesmaid had her hopes shattered by Phyllis. Faith obviously wouldn't blame the parents she loves, even if it is their fault. I just think it would be a better story for Faith and especially Phyllis, let's face it she needs a better story than the busybody hotel owner.
