The Young And The Restless' Spoilers Tuesday, January 6: Matt’s Fate, Nikki Rattled, Daniel Grilled

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for Tuesday, January 6, 2026! Fans can expect to find out what happens to Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) get alarming news. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) interrogates Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Graziadei).

Keep reading, and let’s talk about what is coming up in the CBS soap opera. (Make sure to check out our WEEKLY Y&R spoilers, here!)

Matt Clark’s Twist

Let’s start off with Matt, who was captured by Victor’s security team. After Victor used the man as a punching bag, he was put in the back seat of the car with his hands bound.

It was agreed upon that Nick needed to be the one to end this. However, I’m a bit confused as to why they didn’t bring the police there and have them haul him off to prison.

In any case, Nick is driving the car with Matt in the back seat. Victor should have muzzled Matt’s mouth shut but didn’t. The one moment that Nick took his eyes off of the back seat, Matt struck!

Nick Newman’s Crash

It seems that Matt has found a way to get his bound wrists around the headrest as well as Nick’s throat! Now they are speeding on the road, and Nick is struggling to breathe. It seems that Nick’s only option is to intentionally crash the car.

However, in soaps, the villains usually find a way to escape. Will Nick be knocked unconscious while Matt goes free?

Nikki Newman Rattled

That could certainly explain the spoiler for tomorrow that states Victor and Nikki get rattling news. Perhaps they don’t even know about the crash.

Maybe they just find out that Nick and Matt are both MIA. That would lead Victor to send his team out to search for them. They might find Nick and the car, but Matt could be gone.

Phyllis Summers’ Interrogation

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, January 6 reveal that Phyllis will interrogate her son about his new romance.

Daniel and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) aren’t sure what to call their dynamic yet. What they do know is that right now, it feels good.

However, Phyllis might still be concerned that Daniel could end up with a broken heart. The woman is right, but Daniel isn’t 15. Daniel is a grown man capable of making his own decisions, good or bad.

I am just so sick of the Mariara story. Like finish it already, Mariara was so boring before her problem it is just sickening now. Clear makes me angry as to what and who she wants. Philip made her self the devil in the show but she is always blaming someone else and is always trying to get to the top on someone else strength. I will love to see Philip get kick down again. When is Victor going to get his pay back for destroying ever one life. Tired of Victory walking through and destroying lives just for the laugh of it. Nicki is still putting her head in the sand pretending she is angry at Victor’s actions. Nicki go back to the pole.
