Nikki Newman’s Blindness

Let’s kick off this post with Nikki, who got her bandages removed. While Nikki was open to all outcomes, she truly thought her vision would come back.

Unfortunately, it has not and now, Nikki has to face a future of possibly being blind forever.

Nikki has been trying so hard to remain optimistic. There is also a concern that this could affect Nikki’s mental health and maybe even an addictive relapse. 

In fact, spoilers suggest that Nikki will spiral after the bandage removal. We already saw the woman smash a mirror. It was a heartbreaking moment.

While this could be forever, there is also a chance that Nikki’s eyesight could come back later. In fact, I’m betting that this blindness story is going to have a twist.

Maybe in the end, everyone will credit Nikki’s blindness for some reason. 

Victor Newman Powerless

This will also affect Victor as he’s always been able to save the day for Nikki. However, this time, fate has control and isn’t letting go.

There is nothing Victor can do to give Nikki her eyesight back. So, this will be emotionally hard for the patriarch as well. Let’s hope it also humbles him a bit. 

Victor already went to the top experts in the optic nerve operation. Next, he might try to assign blame. That is just the way Victor operates, but it’s not anyone’s fault.

Sometimes life just throws curveballs to keep you in your own lane. 

Claire Grace Newman’s Reality

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, July 28 reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has always been more emotional than Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin).

Claire is more logical and rational, dealing with facts rather than feelings. So, she will get fed up with her mother being so sickly positive all the time. 

Of course, people have different ways of dealing with issues. For some people, positivity is a superpower. For others, they need just the cold, hard facts to best prepare themselves.

They just cope with difficulties in totally different ways, but that could provide some conflict anyway.
