The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, June 2 – Jabot Returned To John – Nate’s Terrible News – Victor & Ashley Make Amends

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, June 2, tease that viewers will see an episode of Y&R that originally aired on September 17, 1999. The episode is part of a special week of encore episodes dedicated to the Abbott family.

In the episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will give John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) a significant gift. Jack will tell his father that he regrets ever talking him into taking Jabot public, since it resulted in them losing the company. Jack will say that since then, he’s had one objective – to get the company back.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: John Abbott Is Emotional As Jabot Is Returned To Him

Jack will go on, explaining that when he took over Newman Enterprises, he wanted Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to know how it felt to lose his company, just like what he and John had felt. Jack will then reveal that he went to Victor offering to give up his ownership of Newman Enterprises, including his generous severance package, if Victor would return Jabot to the Abbott family.

John will say that Victor would never do that, but Jack will tell him that Victor agreed to it. As John is in tears, Jack will tell him that Jabot belongs to him again. John will be overcome with emotion, and Jack will say that John should return to the helm of the company, with himself and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) by his side. John will be thrilled.

Y&R Spoilers Scoop: Paul Williams Wants Mackenzie “Mac” Browning To Stay At The Chancellor Mansion

Next on Y&R, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will attempt to convince Mackenzie “Mac” Browning (Ashley Bashioum) to stay, reminding her of her promise to Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). Mac will lament about how Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has accused her of stealing a lighter, and how Jill seems to be willing to do anything to get rid of her. Mac will want to leave, but Paul will think that if Mac leaves now, then Jill wins. Paul will think that Mac should stand up for herself and stay until Katherine returns.

Victoria Newman Can’t Understand Her Mother’s Actions – CBS Soap Spoilers

Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Heather Tom) will find Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) dancing in a restaurant. Upset, Victoria will approach Nikki once she’s back at her table and Brad is off making a call. Victoria will blast her mother for being there with Brad, and she’ll demand that Nikki leave with her. Nikki will refuse.

Victoria will eventually take off, with Brad watching. Nikki will complain to Brad about Victoria not wanting her to have a life of her own. Brad will say that he’s is there for her, and the two will kiss and canoodle at the table.

Victor Newman & Ashley Abbott Mend Fences On Young & Restless

Next on Y&R, Ashley will visit with Victor at the office. Victor will be surprised to see Ashley, as he’ll think that the Abbotts would be celebrating getting Jabot back. Ashley will say that she wanted to thank Victor for letting John get the company back. Victor will say that it’s because of her as well as John.

Ashley will say that even though the two of them clashed a lot over the past few weeks, she found it exhilarating, and that she’d rather clash with him than co-exist peacefully with anyone else. Ashley will be leaving when Victor stops her and whispers in her ear to stay in touch.

Young and the Restless Updates: Nick Newman & Sharon Newman Harbor A Secret

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive home as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is listening to a man playing a guitar and singing. Turns out, the man will be auditioning to play at the coffeehouse. Nick and Sharon will discuss how they don’t want Victor or Nikki to know the they now own the coffeehouse. Nick will also share that Victor is back at the helm at Newman Enterprises again, and that later they’ll go up to the house to celebrate.

Malcolm Winters & Olivia Winters Deliver Some Difficult News

Next on Y&R, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams) will have some difficult news to give Nate Hastings (Bryant Jones). Malcolm will arrive home, with Nate thrilled to see him, and while Nate is out of the room, Malcolm and Olivia will discuss how they’re going to tell Nate about their divorce.

Nate will return, and Malcolm and Olivia will sit Nate down and explain about breaking promises, and how difficult it is to break a promise to someone you really care about. Olivia will say that she and Malcolm haven’t been able to resolve their differences, and Nate will wonder whether they really tried. Malcolm will say that they have. Nate will pretty quickly realize that Olivia and Malcolm are getting a divorce, and he’ll be upset.

Next On Y&R: Victoria Newman Clashes With Victor Newman

Back at the office, Victor will call Ramona Caceres (Gladys Jimenez) to congratulate her on the report she sent to the pharmaceutical company and to ask her to attend a seminar on behalf of the company. Victoria will come in and overhear the conversation, getting upset with her father for talking with Ramona. Victoria will also talk with Victor about how Nikki is talking about having another baby.

Victor will think that sounds ridiculous, and Victoria will ask if that’s how Victor reacted to Nikki when she brought it up. Victor will say that he tried to be gentle with Nikki, and he’ll refuse when Victoria asks him to rethink his decision. Victor will think that Victoria shouldn’t encourage her mother’s midlife fantasy.
