Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, October 8 reveal that Chance is back at the Genoa City Police Department. Chance specifically requested to be put on Heather’s murder investigation. Chance has already gotten the preliminary autopsy report and is invested in solving this crime.

Chance has always been a good detective, and he doesn’t fall for a lot of the mind games other cops do. 

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor’s Warning

On Tuesday, October 8, fans will see Chance issue Daniel a warning. In a preview clip, Chance tells Daniel and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) that he got an interesting lead when looking into tracking Heather’s phone.

Now, Sharon turned the location off on Heather’s phone. However, with all the technology advances these days, surely the police and the cell phone company will get within the tower that Heather’s phone pinged from when Sharon texted Daniel. 

Sharon tries to protect herself by shoving the bloody towels in Daniel’s cabinet. However, Daniel and Lucy were together and at the movies at the time of the murder.

Then, they were also spotted at Society. Chance is smart enough to figure out right away that this doesn’t make any sense.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers’ Meltdown

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, October 8 reveal that Phyllis will have a meltdown. Phyllis is reeling over Heather’s death. Phyllis was one of the first people who worried that Heather was murdered. Phyllis was right about that, and could lose it on Sharon.

At the same time, Phyllis admitted to Nick that right now, Sharon terrifies her. So, will Phyllis make herself a target of Sharon’s delusional rage?

Speaking of Sharon, she gets into a war with Phyllis. That leads to Nick coming in and saving the day. Most likely, Phyllis confronts Sharon, who lashes out.

Nick will want to protect Phyllis while also helping Sharon get stable again. Nick might tell Phyllis that Sharon was off her meds and is on the right track now, but it will take time. 

However, if Phyllis accuses Sharon of killing Heather, Nick could jump into action. What Nick doesn’t realize is that Phyllis is right… Sharon is a killer.
