Now, all seems lost, as Billy has spun out again. Sabotaging his beautiful family for what? Authenticity. Whatever he imagines that idyllic pursuit to be.
However, as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) saw at the Ranch after ‘Billy-boy’ departed, Vickie is in control. Oh, she’s suffering emotional pain, which represents the latest round of unnecessary upset Billy caused. But choosing to live at her family’s home enables the children to be cared for by many loved ones and is allowing for Vickie’s trademark resiliency to shine.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Beautiful Family Damaged By Fall
Billy doesn’t realize it or isn’t capable of acknowledging the situation, but he’s fallen again. Forever the screw-up, he is caught in a pattern of self-torture that’s gone well beyond the aftermath of Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) death all those soapy years ago.
In effect, Billy thinks too much about himself. He creates exaggerated realities and then tries to deal with them, which isn’t humanly possible. A dive into gloom takes hold when Billy naturally fails to meet whatever unattainable goals he’s set.
This combination of mental health needs and character quirks seems unable to be repaired. Despite the best efforts and intentions of those who love him, including Vickie and his mother, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), Billy seems unwilling to allow himself space to grow and so he hasn’t.
Y&R Spoilers – Vickie Newman Protecting Her Children
Thankfully Johnny Abbott (Ryan and Holden Hare), who is Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) biological child with Billy, and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) have their mother. It’s not that Billy has done intentional harm to them, as Vickie underscored, but they, like their mother, can’t count on his consistency. That’s what the Abbott children have always needed and deserved, as is true of every child in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Vickie has had her own missteps, most recently including the decision to couple with J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). But she not only makes her children a priority, but she also is there for them every day. Now, Billy is willingly not.
Billy told Johnny and Katie that he would see them regularly. Time will tell if he’s able to maintain that promise.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Might Be New Choice
Would it seem implausible for Billy to create a relationship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and then start a family with her? No, as viewers have seen they’ve already grown close.
‘Bamanda’ supplanting ‘Villy’ is hardly a stretch. Possibly Billy and Amanda will convince themselves that they are meant to be together.
Amanda doesn’t already have a family of her own as Billy does. But in Billy’s mind, he’ll work it all out, which, based on history, means he probably won’t.

How many times before has she taken control and dumbass Billy always screws up. I think he’s bipolar. He’s high, he’s low and then he will snap over nothing. I don’t like this Billy. The last one was best. I’m not a huge fan of Amanda either but I would hate to see Billy screw her up like he did Victoria.
Shend billy just need to end it all this back and fourth in tired of.
