The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 31, tease that viewers will see an encore episode of Y&R that originally aired on November 21, 2003. In the episode, Raul Guittierez (David Lago) and Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) will argue about the reason she quit her job. Raul will say that if Brittany only quit taking care of him, then she might as well keep working since he can take care of himself.

Brittany will say that it’s ok for her love for Raul to motivate her to change, but Raul will fire back that it’s not love – it’s pity, and he wants none of it. Brittany will be very upset and leave the apartment in a huff. Raul will be frustrated.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Newman Won’t Reveal Victor Newman’s Whereabouts

Next on Y&R, at the Newman ranch, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will ask Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) how to get in touch with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Nikki will refuse to say, wanting Michael to tell her what’s going on. Michael will say that she has to have heard all the rumors that are swirling around, but Nikki will fire back that the rumors didn’t start until Michael started working for Victor.

Nikki will say that she’s tired of all this and that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has also tried to warn her about rumors and doom. Michael won’t be pleased to hear that Jack had been to see Nikki, and Nikki will try to get Michael to tell her what’s going on. However, Michael will only way that Nikki should tell Victor that he needs to talk with him.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Rages At Albert Miller For His Past Cruelty

Next on Y&R, at the hospice, Albert Miller (George Kennedy) will finally admit to Victor that he did have a son named “Christian,” but he’ll say that he had never been a family man. Albert will say that he makes no apologies for his past. Victor will say that he supposes that he should thank Albert since Victor fought for everything he had due to Albert’s cruelty. Albert will taunt Victor for thinking that they could have some warm and fuzzy reconciliation.

Albert will turn to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), asking if he’d come because he wanted to meet his grandfather. Nick will just want to stay out of this, as this is between Albert and Victor. Albert will ask if Victor wants money, and Victor will rage at his father, saying that he came because he believes in the importance of family. Albert will say that family is overrated, but Victor will fire back that all his wealth means nothing without his family.

Victor will say that he has simply come to say goodbye, and now it is time to leave. Once Nick and Victor exit the room, Victor will sit down and bury his head in his hands, crying. Victor will thank Nick for being there, and Nick will suggest that they go home. Nick will embrace his father as they walk away.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Fends Off Cassie Newman’s Probing Questions

Next on Y&R, Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) will meet with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) at the GCAC for lunch, as Cassie will have the afternoon off of school. Things will go well until Cassie asks why Victor wouldn’t want to see his father. Sharon will explain how Victor felt abandoned as a child, and then Cassie will ask about Frank Barritt (Phil Dozois), wanting the truth about her father.

Sharon will get very uncomfortable, saying that it had been a painful time in her life, but Cassie will press the issue, wanting to know why Sharon hadn’t told her the truth about it. Cassie will get upset when Sharon won’t talk, and she’ll go to the ladies’ room. Sharon will then notice a man across the room reading a newspaper, and she’ll scoop Cassie up when Cassie returns and say they have to leave immediately.

Elsewhere, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will argue. Phyllis will complain about Christine’s attempts to intimidate her in her capacity as the new Assistant District Attorney. Christine will fire back that if Phyllis has nothing to hide, it shouldn’t be a problem. Soon, Michael will rush in and intervene, and Phyllis will eventually take off. Christine will then tell Michael that she’s there working on a case and that it involves him.

Y&R Spoilers – Danny Romalotti Returns To Genoa City & Bumps Into Phyllis Summers

Next on Y&R, Gina Roma (Patty Weaver) will be happy with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damiam) appears at the GCAC. Danny will say that he’s working on setting up a tour and that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is doing well at boarding school. Gina and Danny will catch up about the disaster at her restaurant and about Danny’s past relationship with Christine.

Gina will offer her room at the GCAC to Danny, and they’ll go off to look at the room. Gina will come back alone and see Phyllis at the bar. Soon, Danny will appear, and he and Phyllis will stare at each other. Phyllis will look absolutely shocked, and Danny won’t seem happy to be in Phyllis’ presence.
