The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman Bullying Billy – Can Jill Save Son?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seemingly has nothing better to do than plot Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) downfall. This after Billy helped Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) by helping to expose her husband’s filthy dog backstory.

Victor has a well-earned reputation as a ruthless human being. While some are tagged with that label by exaggerators, anyone who uses that adjective is correctly describing the Moustache.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke Is A Rogue

Billy had it right. Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) lied about who he was and cheated his way to success.

Victor took a shine to the guy early on because he sensed that Burgi’s character was a similar lout. The crude behavior in which both men have lived their lives is rationalized as necessary in order to get ahead.

Ashland and Victor do not practice fair trade. No, they are predators who feast upon the weak or those who they undercut and then kill off under the false guise of business dealings.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Is Not Done Yet

It appears that Jill Abbott Atkinson’s (Jess Walton) decision to accept Billy’s offer to bow out of Chance Comm will not serve to satisfy Victor. As the viewers know, the gray Moustache wins even if Victoria and Ashland obtain Jill’s media division, as it would become a part of Newman-Locke.

Victor understands Victoria’s chess move. Chance Comm was formerly part of Newman until she sold it to Billy. When pressed by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Victor said that he should not be miffed by Vashland’s duplicity, as he should know not to trust anyone in business.

Braeden’s character is, of course, written to the extreme when it comes to business maneuvers. The point being that this titan takes the time to personally attack Billy, which has nothing to do with money matters.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Survives Take-down Attempt?

Billy likely would have been toppled in whatever manner Victor is angling to make that happen. However, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) distress call to Jill gives Billy a chance to save himself.

Jill is protective of her son. However, she has often found ways to force him to make needed choices.

So, whatever deal Jill might make with Newman-Locke, Victor, or whoever will probably include some escape hatch for Billy. If, for some reason it does not then she is not much better than Victor.
