The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Outs Billy On Notice, Jason Thompson Talks Y&R Return

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a few choice words for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). The patriarch gives the young man a stern warning in a sneak peeks clip posted on Entertainment Weekly. Plus, Thompson talked about the soap coming back on the air and everyone returning to work.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Happened Last With Billy Abbott

Y&R spoilers reveal that new episodes come back Monday! So, where did the soap leave off when it comes to the character of Billy? Thompson explained that Billy has gone through some tough times during the past year. His mom brainstormed a communication division, putting Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) in charge.

Thompson explained that in the sneak peek, it’s somewhat of a recap episode to remind viewers where things left off. He also reiterated the fact that the Newmans and Abbotts don’t exactly get along very well.

“… it’s a little bit of a recap about where we and where we left off. It’s the anniversary of Katherine Chancellor’s death, so everybody’s gathered to remember and celebrate her at Chancellor Park. Billy and Lily take the opportunity to interview people there [for the new division], which is a way for us to kind of regroup and recap where we left off for everyone.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Getting Back to Work

When it came to the cast and crew finally being able to get back to work, Thompson talked about how great it was to be on set again. He also made it clear that the soap has made sure that the Y&R cast and crew is very safe. The Health and safety of everyone is a top priority and Thompson feels that they have done a great job doing that.

“We’re getting the job done. What’s interesting about what we do too is how we can turn this show around pretty quickly and get episodes back on the air. I mean, we’re already having new episodes on Aug. 10! That’s huge. We know how to do it quickly. So I think the network is looking to us as a little bit of a guide to show how it can be done. We’re going into our fourth week right now [of filming].”
