The Young and the Restless spoilers show that in a preview for the upcoming week, we see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) sitting at a table with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and they are having a pretty intense conversation.

In the preview, we hear Victor ask Chance what HE did to his daughter. As if Chance did anything to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) other than try to give her the world. Don’t get me wrong, he did leave for a ‘secret mission’ and lately he has been kind of cold, but that doesn’t excuse Abby’s behavior for one minute.

Of course, a Newman can do no wrong. Look at how Victor has coddled the rest of his children, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and to a lesser extent, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Just because his daughter is upset, he automatically assumes it did not have anything to do with her and that Chance must be the man responsible for his ‘little princess’ being upset. Victor is going to get hit with a ton of bricks when he finds out the truth.

I would absolutely love to see Chance stick it to Victor, just this once. He was up in his face before during the investigation of Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death, but backed off at the request of Abby. Now, he may be able to dish out some of his feelings to Victor’s face.
I would love to see the look on Victor’s face when Chance tells him that his little princess cheated on him with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and how he literally walked in on them together. Victor probably won’t want to believe it and act as though Chance is in the wrong.
If Chance really wanted to stick it to the Newmans, he would re-open the Locke investigation and pin Victor for moving his body and staging an accident. It has been a long time coming and I think Victor may want to watch out for what’s around the corner. His family isn’t the perfect little group he believes it to be and if he’s not careful, he could lose them.
