The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Refuses To Allow Victoria To Oust Nick, Takes Newman Enterprises Back, Firing Victoria?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will put his foot down with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), where Nate Hastings, Jr (Sean Kanan) is concerned. He dislikes his daughter’s plan to remove Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as COO and name Nate his replacement.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) made her opinion clear on Nate taking over Nick’s job. She refuses to support Victoria’s decision, warning her that Victor won’t be pleased with how she runs Newman Enterprises.

Victoria claims she asked Nick to take a leave of absence to help him deal with his family’s trauma. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) killed Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) in self-defense after he kidnapped her daughter.

If that’s not enough, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lost her baby after suffering a health scare. That would send the sanest person crazy. It’s understandable why Victoria wants Nick to take some time off. However, Nate’s ambitions and past betrayals make the Newman family uneasy.

Victor tells Victoria she would not force her brother to take time off. And, under no circumstances should she name Nate the new COO. He doesn’t want her to give Nate a position in Newman Enterprises.

Victor is prepared to let Victoria go as the CEO if she refuses to back away from her plan to oust Nick. He doesn’t want Nick to have to stress worrying about his position while he recovers from the traumatic week he experienced.
Nikki urges Victoria to reconsider her decision to name Nate as the COO. She thinks he’s using her daughter to further his career. Victoria refuses to listen to her, ranting that she knows what she’s doing. She trusts Nate, and Nikki should be too.
