CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) knew that one of her roles at Chance Com would be as a check on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). In light of him openly defying their agreed-upon story decision, she’s now forced to deal with the fallout of his reckless, impulse actions.

Lily had a contentious relationship with her brother’s wife. But Khalil’s character never believed she’d see Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) again. She hasn’t, but instead was shocked to learn that her look-a-like, Amanda Sinclair (Morgan) is, in fact, Hilary’s identical twin. Learning that truth through Billy’s bungled smartphone phone conversation made it all the worse.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott’s Unilateral Decision

Billy had no right to publish the story Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) created. He’d just been in touch with Amanda, who said she needed time to consider the legal implications of the information becoming public through the endorsement of Chancellor’s media division.

Billy agreed to hold off on publication while Amanda was doing her due diligence and because Lily had serious reservations regarding the claimed facts of the case involving Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). But Billy is Billy, or to be more exact, Billy-boy.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Did Victor Newman Know What He Was Doing?

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) strolled into Lily’s office, as apparently, Billy has none. The Moustache confronted one of his longtime nemeses.

Billy was openly threatened, which didn’t bother him. But then Victor either made a calculated mistake or knew what he was doing.

Victor attacked Billy’s performance as a father. He told him that he failed, by implying that Billy was responsible for Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) death. Billy still blames Adam for that event, which was never fully resolved on Y&R.

Whether Victor acted with specifically purposeful intent isn’t known yet. He may have simply been angry and was venting, knowing that Billy held true power over him. Alternatively, Victor might have been setting a trap.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Winters Dealing With Current Crises

Billy’s actions created a crisis for Chance Com. The company could be in legal jeopardy because Alyssa’s story could provoke responses that can’t be defended.

Regarding Alyssa, Lily is concerned about how her brother is handling this reveal. She doesn’t want him to become destabilized, as he was in the past. Ideally, Lily wouldn’t have to handle both bombshells at once. But Billy dropped them and so she does.
