Victoria believes Nate is in sync with her goals for the family business. She thinks Nick is too passive. That projects to the interim portion of Nate’s Chief Operating Officer’s tag being removed shortly.

As parents, there is only so much Victor and Nikki can do regarding the personal lives their adult children lead. Viewers who have children on the other side of the screen surely commiserate, which is partially what makes these storylines solid.

Nikki is Victoria’s co-Chief Executive Officer. That gives Thomas Scott’s character the ability to do more than just offer advice. She can try to derail Victoria’s decisions.

Victor owns McCall Unlimited. That means he can shut down Adam’s efforts to attack Newman Media. If that happens, Adam will shift his aim from Victoria to his father on Y&R.
