The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) continues to be very direct with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She is interested in more than a business relationship with him.

Viewers confirmed through Victoria’s recent actions that she worked with Nate in an attempt to take control of Chancellor-Winters. When he pulled the plug on that effort, a job offer followed.

So, Nate got his job because of Victoria’s personal feelings for him. That makes viewers wonder if she will retain him indefinitely even if he continues to resist her repeated overtures.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has a plan. She is formulating it in her mind, which means Silver’s character is making some of it up as she goes along.

The talk with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) at Crimson Lights happened because Audra sensed an opening. Elena was looking for Nate at Newman Media, but he was not working. Instead, Victoria was attempting to reassure him in her office that they could keep their attraction to each other contained.

Elena heard Audra’s pitch about doing a podcast with Nate about J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill). The mention of J.T. was two-fold.

It allowed Audra to try and split Nate from Victoria by bringing her arguably greatest love back to Genoa City, Wisconsin. Viewers also wondered if Luckinbill would be seen during the show’s fiftieth-anniversary celebration episodes.

Y&R Spoilers – Nate Hastings Wants Personal And Professional Growth

The Victoria issue is one Nate did not see coming. He went to Newman Media because he believed his ideas and drive would be valued. Nate was shut down at Chancellor-Winters by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), resented it, and was eventually had to move on.

Hopefully, for Nate he does not eventually realize that Victoria’s motives involved her Victor Newman-like (Eric Braeden) duplicity. She knows he is committed to Elena but does not respect that boundary.

Nate wants to develop his business career and is in love with Elena. But he is caught in what may be an unwinnable scenario.

Nate promised Elena nothing was happening with Victoria. He was not telling the whole truth, as he withheld information about him kissing her twice.
