Now that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) have returned from their business trip, they think they are free to do whatever they want now.
After all, the finally succumbed to passion in Los Angeles and he is no longer with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) because she showed up and learned what they did.
So, may as well have a little office romance and sex, right? Nate and Victoria take it to her desk once again and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) walks in once again.
He braces himself for what he might see and thinks maybe he should avoid this confrontation, but in the end, he can’t control himself.

“Nick knows better to knock before he goes into his sister’s office,” Joshua Morrow said in the May 22, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “He knows it’s a real possibility that she’s in there with Nate doing what they’re not supposed to be doing.”

He might be the little brother but that doesn’t mean that Nick doesn’t try to be the big brother. After Nate makes a hasty retreat out of Victoria’s office, Nick takes his sister to task for her activities and gives her a paranoid warning.
“Nate could be using her to get ahead in the company,” Morrow explained. “It’s obvious that he’s very ambitious and Nick strongly advises that she put an end to whatever is going on between them. But in true Newman style, Victoria doesn’t like to be told what to do.”

As expected, Vicky pleads with Nick to not make her relationship with Nate public just yet, but Nick is not as cooperative as she would like.
“Nick believes this could become really messy, but Victoria doesn’t seem concerned. He’s 100% positive that this won’t end well if nothing is done.”
