The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Waiting On The Results
Victoria waits at Crimson Lights where Cole’s due to meet her after returning from Oregon, after going to Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) house to get items with Claire’s DNA.
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) had advised that was the best way to get DNA with no chance of being tampered with and faked.
Victoria, as well as Cole, is still in a state of shock after finding out that Claire could be their baby Eve, all grown up.
Eve was Victoria’s first pregnancy and she’d had to be delivered by c-section prematurely after Victoria’s appendix ruptured.

The thought that Claire could be baby Eve is traumatizing to Victoria, after the death itself being traumatic and her being raised by a monster just breaks Victoria’s heart.
Y & R Spoilers – Cole Howard Arrives
Cole arrives back and tells Victoria he was able to get a toothbrush, a hairbrush and a few other personal items of Claire’s. It would have taken too long to be able to get Claire’s DNA through the Oregon police, and they need to know if she’s her daughter as soon as possible.
The next step is submitting samples of their own DNA to be compared against that of Claire’s, and they’re able to get a rush job at the lab. While they’re waiting on the lab results they have a heart to heart talk about the possible outcomes-if she is baby Eve, where do they go from here?
They want to help her all they can if she is baby Eve but they promised to help her even if she isn’t-and if she isn’t, she’ll need even more help.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Michael Baldwin Agreed To Take The Case
While waiting for Michael to return, Cole opens up about how the recent events brought back old trauma from his own psychologically damaged late mother.
Neither Cole nor Victoria can just turn their back on Claire even if the DNA doesn’t match, she was raised from a newborn by a monster.
After traveling to Oregon himself and talking to Claire, who was as forthcoming as she was able to be, Michael meets Victoria and Cole and agrees to take her case.
Michael acknowledged that Claire is very troubled, and Victoria and Cole tell him they should have the results of the DNA test back in a few days.
He, too, wonders what they will do regarding helping Claire if she’s not their daughter-it will be a tough decision for Victoria, but her motherly heartstrings won’t let her abandon her.
