The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will face Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) furry after Nate Hastings, Jr. fails as Newman Media CEO. It is a position that Nate isn’t qualified for. It’s just setting him up to fail.
Victoria believes in Nate and feels he’s the perfect man for the job. However, to hire Nate, she had to fire Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as the current CEO.
Y&R fans believe that her move to fire Sally was a personal one. She seeks to create distance between Sally and her brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). She falsely thinks if Sally isn’t working at Newman, Nick won’t spend so much time with the redhead.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers —Victoria Regrets Trusting Nate Hastings
Victoria acknowledged Nate lacks experience in the media department. She listed his strengths, one of them being in the medical field. Since he can’t perform surgeries anymore, she felt he would be a perfect fit for the Newman Media CEO position.
The beef between Nate and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) could be a problem for Newman Enterprises. It goes deeper than Nate selling his Chancellor-Winters shares to Victoria. Nate hasn’t addressed Elena Dawson’s (Brytini Sarpy) tryst with Devon. He can pretend that it didn’t bother him, but the Y&R viewers can tell something drove Nate to betray his family in this way.
Y&R Spoilers—Victor Newman Gets Involved
The one thing the Y&R fans love, and that’s Victor Newman. He gets wind of Victoria’s new hire. He investigates his track record with Newman Media and finds he isn’t doing as good of a job as Sally. The Mustache questions his daughter about Nate’s lack of performance and suggests firing him.
Victoria will probably defend Nate, proposing they give him more time to get into the swing of things. Victor won’t like that idea, hinting that it was a mistake to hire him. Victoria hopes that Victor will allow her to keep her employee and continue to build a meaningful friendship with Nate.
If Nate fails at the CEO position, Victoria will lose, too. Victor will want answers to how she plans to fix the situation, including who she intends to name as Nate’s replacement.

Victoria is a chip off the old block but Victor Newman is Victor Newman… she is out of control… of course she fired Sally because of Nick’s involvement with her… Nate, Nate, Nate… what were you thinking?
It’s about time VICTORIA goes down. She is one rude piece of work. She does not care what she does or who she hurts. Hope she looses it all.
About time VICTOR comes down on her. She hurt Ashland is the worst way so she deserves what she gets. And Nick I believe will walk out. Cannot wait!
Absolutely agree! Victoria is one cold hearted spoiled you know what. Time to knock her down a few notches! Her and Nate’s characters have become nasty and it just doesn’t work for their previous characters, Nate decent guy turned espionage spy for Victoria… The whole show has become clownish especially Phyllis! Lily being a CEO is stupid and what’s worse is this Billy Chelsea Sharon trio! Really Billy!? Billy’s character is so ridiculous he’s too old to keep trying to find what he wants to be when he grows up act! Adam and Connor need to know where Chelsea is! It’s just stupid…AUGH!!!

Victoria is portrayed to stupid to run Newman. You can’t have her constantly making bad decisions and keep her in that position. Make us women look bad. Just think if that role was played by Phyllis or Sally. Different show completely
I am hoping the writers have Nate fail miserably and Victoria made to eat crow! She has turned into a real hard faced cow who doesn’t care who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants or needs. She really did learn at the feet of the master. I don’t much care for Nikki either at the moment she went after Nick about Sally being a liability etc she needs to look in the mirror ..she has let Victor treat her like dirt walk all over her treated her like a dumb child and she married him more than 3 times so she is the last person who should be tossing around insults about Sally or giving Nick advice on who he should be dating etc
