The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman-Locke Plots Against Her Father’s Company

Back in Genoa City, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is waiting to see what Victoria and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) are up to since she broke ties with the Newmans. Victor doesn’t know where they are just yet although he will likely have his men try and track them down. Victoria has some ideas though and she passes them by Ashland who agrees it’s a great plan; they will form a competitor company to outdo Newman Enterprises.

Victoria and Ashland’s long-term plan will probably be to take over what’s left of Newman Enterprises once she gets done wooing all her contacts to her new company! She gives her brother a call just to let him know she’s alive and well, and at some business meetings in New York!

Y & R Spoilers – Victoria Newman-Locke’s Check-In Call Is With Ulterior Motives

Victoria’s check-in call with Nick is with ulterior motives – she knows that he’ll tell their father Victor, and she does tell him she’s using her own business contacts, not Ashland’s. Nick will realize then that the meetings are about forming her own competitor company to Newman Enterprises, and he’ll warn Victor even though he’s never been interested in the business world. Early on Nick forged on with his own companies such as the club “The Underground” and later, a construction company, “New Hope”; right now Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) running Newman Enterprises. Newman Media still exists as well so Adam’s doing double duty to help out the family, secretly intending to take over Newman Enterprises as well.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Knows His Sister’s Competitive Side

Nick knows his sister’s competitive side and that she wants to crush their father and his legacy, and she’ll want to crush Adam as well. More than likely Victoria isn’t as worried about Adam and figures he’ll self-sabotage like he always does and won’t cause any future problems. Nick predicts that Victoria is egging Victor on for a fight since even he knows that their father will retaliate against her at some point.

Victoria will encounter a fierce showdown with Victor but that’s what she wants, and she’s plotting her strategy. Victoria has already declared her own personal war on her family, and now she’s declaring a corporate one.

Y & R Spoilers – Two Massive Egos Are Set To Clash

Usually, people think of men having massive egos, but it’s easy to see that Victoria has one as well! Victoria is every bit her father’s equal, and she is already thinking ten steps ahead of him with this new company, plotting a hostile takeover of everything Newman! Corporate takeovers are Ashland’s stock and trade, having earned the nickname of “Locke Ness Monster” for exactly that reason. Even when he put Cyaxeres Media up for sale he had ulterior motives for doing so! Victoria and Victor are poised to go head to head in a battle of the business titans once she gets her new company established!
