The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) has not been swayed to reverse her decision. She feels Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) multiple betrayals, and the length of time that he employed his scheme, eliminates any chance for them to start fresh.
Ashland has not given up. He has the half-billion-dollar payout in his account but has no current plans to leave Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Newman’s character believes the love he and Victoria share will eventually result in a revival of the life they planned. However, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wants to ensure that does not happen.

Victoria finally got Ashland to admit what he did, which led to him signing off on Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) extreme golden parachute. Then, the three-car accident took place on that dark highway, which cost Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) his life.
All that happened is too fresh in Victoria’s mind. Plus, she is recovering from the physical and mental impact of seeing Rey’s headlights approaching, later awakening, and told by Ashland that Vilasuso’s character was gone.
So, for the moment, Victoria is removing Locke from her last name, solely going with Newman.
Y&R Spoilers – Ashland Locke Still Has An Ace
The bravery Ashland demonstrated was not a gimmick. No one was around when he pushed the door of his car open with his feet and ran to Victoria’s burning luxury sport utility vehicle.
Ashland’s burned hand is evidence that he did not care about himself. Instead, his sole focus was on rescuing Victoria, despite the risk to his life.
Victoria’s now ex-husband remains an intriguing enigma. He is the Lockeness Monster and the man that loves her sincerely. That contrast remains subconsciously attractive to Victoria.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Still Has Guilt
Billy knows that his decision to leave Victoria in the recent past led to her rebounding to Ashland. Thompson’s character is not self-centered in believing that there is a direct line between the choice he made to end their romantic connection and the marriage that happened in Tuscany, Italy.
If not for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Billy might already be repledging his love for Victoria. But Billy’s feelings for Lily are likely deeper than the space in his heart that will always be reserved for Victoria on Y&R.

What Ashland did for Victoria, getting her out of a burning car, one would think he would have done that for anyone. That is a natural thing to go and help someone that is trapped, unless the first thing come to mind is how can this help me if I do not help, and then do nothing. He did it once and helping Victoria could help him by saving her. The man is always thinking, and you cannot trust him.
Vicky needs time to heal, she does not need a man in her life right now. She also needs therapy and she needs to step away from her job till she heals. Adam needs to be in a major position at Newman to push him out of the company is childish and just plain jealous. If Adam leaves Newman I hope him and Sally start a fashion house and we see Sally Chelsea and Forrester creations in shows competing against each other.
