The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) believes that she can do whatever she wants in leading Newman Enterprises. Her pipe dream begins with the thought that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has no power over her, which is absurd.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is not on board with her daughter. One half of the famous Niktor recognizes Victor’s potential, which Victoria has decided to ignore. And Nikki knows what happens when her husband isn’t handled with proper nuance.
The inherent danger in this belief lies in discounting Victor’s well-known history. He won’t stand for insubordination from an employee or disrespect from his daughter, in that order.

Victoria might think that she holds sway on Newman Enterprises’ Board of Directors. She may believe that the group would back her over her father if she pushed and he shoved.
This projected scenario would almost certainly result in Victoria being humiliated. Either she wouldn’t have enough Board backing on whatever major initiative she was trying to implement or Victoria might only have her own vote.
Victor would reassert his power as the founder and semi-retired master of ceremonies for this global conglomerate. Victoria would remain in place as his puppet or exit the stage.
Y&R Spoilers – Playing One Parent Against The Other
The above could be tested, as the Board has been used as an arbiter during past disputes within this family and its business. But, on a more personal level, Victoria simply could be asking for her mother’s support against her father.
Nikki knows Victor better than anyone. Her insight should be accepted by Victoria, rather than swatted down. But Heinle’s character lacks self-awareness at times.
Playing one parent against the other dates back to attention-getting efforts and sibling rivalries that involve her two younger brothers and younger sister. Yes, this oldest child has experienced it all.

Victor has gone way overboard at certain moments in his life. He’s cruelly punished his children in order to make them see his opinion. A wild Villy wedding day scene, that involved the use of the authorities, would be just one example of the Moustache’s tactics.
So, Victoria will either pursue her impassioned path or heed her mother’s caution. Why fight the man who created the last name is on the building?

It is time for Victor to take back control of his company from Victoria. She is acting unbalanced.
Victoria needs a wakeup call from Victor. He gave her control of Newman, which is what she always wanted. She only wanted Ashland's company because of childish jealousy of Victor and Adam sharing a business venture and to use as an excuse to get closer to Billy again. Victoria is a selfish, jealous mess.
It’s about time that Victor grew some and put Victoria in her place where she belongs. She needed to get knocked down as she was getting too big for her britches. Don’t know why it took him so long to show her who’s boss.
Hope Victor knocks Victoria off her high horse. Use to like her but in past years I do not like how she has been.

upset when people try & attack him. He is very observant & he is right.
Victoria is living in some dream world! She is little to arrogant if she thinks she can ban Victor from his own company. That is why she wanted to get together with Nick the other day. It wasn’t to catch up. It was have my back I need your vote
It's interesting how attractive actors can start looking so cold and jagged by the direction the writers take them in with these types of stories. Victoria can look sophisticated and beautiful but recently the way her stories are going she is taking on the evil Queen persona. I'm sure Victor will put her in her place, especially if he catches her using Newman to keep helping Billy.
I knew that only Adam would be able to save Nicks daughter …after everything that Nick has said and done to and about Adam he will expect Adam to give Faith one of his kidneys. It seriously boggles my mind that he would have the audacity to even ask Adam for the time of day let alone give up a kidney but we all know that Adam will do it because he loves Faith and Sharon . Nick will be eternally grateful yeah right Adam dropped Faith at the hospital after her accident and Nick was all for shaking the hand of the man that saved his daughter ..but only till he found out it was Adam ! Victoria and Nick have never liked or accepted Adam ..he has always been the redheaded step child as far as they are concerned ..he acted out the way he did mostly because of how they treated him ..now the whole family will expect Adam to give up a kidney to save Faith from a life of Dialysis and years on the transplant list. It honestly boggles the mind.
I think what's going to happen is once Adam is back and found to be innocent it honestly wouldn't surprise me that Victor has Victoria fired and Adam in as CEO!
