At the time, Victoria claimed it was because Nick disrespected her wishes and poked around in Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past. However, the actress hinted that there could be another reason and Nick’s life could be in danger.

Y&R spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is not the only person that Victoria has to worry about. Despite asking everyone to back off, some people insist on poking into Ashland’s background. One person is Nick, who returned to Genoa City and demanded to speak with Ashland privately. However, Ashland arrived at the meeting with Victoria by his side.

Ashland got the impression that Nick had found something but nothing could have prepared him for hearing the name Bobby DeFranco. Victoria was watching Ashland’s reaction very carefully and knew she had to play her cards right.

Y&R Spoilers – Blaming Brother

Victoria stunned both Nick and Ashland by who she blamed. With her head down, Victoria said, “How could you do this?” Then, she looked up and glared at Nick. Of course, Nick was taken aback by Victoria’s reaction. In his mind, he was just trying to protect her and now he’s being blamed for it. However, Victoria might be playing a game of her own.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Heinle was asked about the storyline and Victoria’s reaction to Nick’s discovery. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Heinle implied that Victoria’s reaction might not have been completely genuine. In fact, it sounds like Victoria might be worried about Ashland having Nick killed.

“I think because Victoria already had some concerns about Ashland, that the new information Nick provides just throws fuel on his fire, which could burn Nick instead of Ashland.”

Y&R Spoilers – Protecting Family

Victoria might not be the only one who is trying to protect the family with deception. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seems awfully pushy about siding with Ashland and lashing out at Billy. Victor even paid off Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) . Now, Victor is a savvy businessman. He isn’t just going to go all out to protect and defend someone unless he knows all the facts.

However, Victor would put on a good act and completely blindside a hidden enemy. There is a good chance that Victor might know more than fans realize, and Ashland could pay the price at his own wedding. So, we will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out how this story ends.
