The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victoria Plots With Nate For A Hostile Takeover

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will continue to plot with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). They are working together on a hostile takeover of Chancellor-Winters, when their initial public offering, or IPO, is ready.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Bad, Bad Idea

Victoria’s father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) knows what Victoria is trying to do and he has highly advised against it; what she and Nate are doing is insider trading. They know about this IPO taking place through Nate who is acting as a double agent, and if it were to be found out they could all go to prison. Newman Enterprises would be no more because anyone associated with the company or anyone working for them would be suspect and they could be shut down by the government entities.

Victoria is adamant that no one will ever know, and Nate can be trusted; they’ve known him for years. He was once Victor’s personal physician and if he understands HIPAA, he understands this.

Y & R Spoilers – But They Would Get It Back

There have been so many changes in ownership among the companies in Genoa City over the years it’s difficult to tell who has owned what and when. But Victoria sold Newman Media at one point and it became ChancComm and now it’s merged with Hamilton-Winters and she wants it back. It seems like it’s more a power thing than a practicality thing and it’s definitely a power thing for Nate – he wants to stick it to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). He and his cousin have had a deep seated rivalry ever since they fought over Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and he lost the use of his surgery hand. For Nate, it’s mixing business with vengeance and that’s never a good plan either – things get way too personal, and Devon isn’t the only one who could be hurt.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Corporate Spies

Victor knows his daughter is stubborn, perhaps more stubborn than he is, if that’s possible. He also knows that corporate spies could be hiding in Newman Enterprises that could relay Victoria and Nate’s takeover plans to Jill Abbott, (Jess Walton) and Devon as well and that’s a relationship he doesn’t really want to lose.

Now that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has returned to town, Victor is even more aware that corporate spies work both ways. He’s had enough tangles with Tucker in the past to last a lifetime, and soon he’ll get Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) on another assignment to find out why he’s back.
