The Young And the Restless: Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gave herself some time and space. Then, after the dramatic rescue, she realized that Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) love was real.

But even though he claimed to have changed, how could she reconcile with someone who was that untrustworthy? Enter the Moustache stage right.

Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) bull-headed persistence, a trait Victoria shares with her father, resulted in a semi-epiphany. Victor’s ploy to force Ashland out of Genoa City, Wisconsin, backfired, with Victoria feeling sorry for the man she still loves.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Harrison Locke Was A Pawn

Victor had no real sense of compassion for Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). If so, he would have realized the boy loves the only father figure he had for the first three-plus years of his life.

Pursuing a restraining order, with Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) endorsement and involvement, was a low blow. Victor hoped that Ashland would have left town before Victoria returned from her trip with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Ashland was packed and ready to go. But thankfully, Victoria caught him before he left town.

Y&R Spoilers – Ashland Locke Grateful For Second Chance

Ashland looked like a sad dog while he was preparing to leave his hotel suite at the Grand Phoenix. He believed that the love of his life would never forgive him.

Victoria still has raw feelings regarding the cancer ruse. She was humiliated in front of her family and saw all the work that led to the merger collapse.

The second chance Victoria is giving Ashland is conditional. She wants to take their hoped-for makeup slowly. That is wise, considering their history and her experience with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Remains Standing

Without realizing the impact of his actions, Victor put Victoria in a new position. Her father supported her marriage last fall. But now, it is her and Ashland against them all.

Victor allowed Ashland to transform from a villain into a besieged poor soul overnight. Ashland was not going to be able to accomplish this feat without Victor’s involvement.

From this point forward, Ashland will need to walk on a very straight and narrow path. He can not afford to give Victoria any reason to doubt him and must follow through on his desire to live a better life. Victoria will likely support and even remarry him if he does.
