How Adam plans to turn Victor’s supposed condition against him is yet to be seen. Victoria is currently second in line as the Chief Executive Officer under their father’s lead.

It would seem that Victor is working on a more elaborate plan. Potential documents that follow through on his call for an ally could be part of the trap.

Nick Newman (Joshua Newman) once gas-lighted his father. That came during a period when TPTB asked Morrow what direction he would like his character to be written in during the actor’s twenty-fifth anniversary season.

Victor has overcome various betrayals but never fully releases the grudges he has held. Nick is not one of the children whom he suspects of undermining his power. But he is the first offspring to realize what Victor is trying to pull.

The scribbling Victor purposely left in his office, as an anticipated form of proof for Victoria or Adam to find, caught Nick’s attention. It was at that moment Morrow’s character began to think about Victor’s probable gaslight attempt.

Victoria has had her moments. But of all Victor’s children, she is the best-suited to head Newman Enterprises.

The above is true because, like her mother, Victoria responds with measure to Victor’s eccentric pressure. This strength is on display right now as Braeden’s character should soon see.

As for Adam, he is concerned about Victor’s health. But it does feel like that will be exploited for personal gain and a power grab on Y&R.
