The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will work on her relationship with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). It’s kind of backwards parenting a grown daughter you thought was dead for years, but she knows trust takes time to be built-and that goes both ways.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Made A Shocking Decision
Victoria made a shocking decision, at least as far as some in her family were concerned. After Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Claire were rescued from the old fishing cabin and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) was arrested, Claire was brought back to the ranch.
Victoria decided that as her mother, Claire was her responsibility-and brought her to live with her, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) got her okayed for house arrest and continuing therapy.
The Newmans and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) refused to press charges against Claire, only Jordan since Claire is as much a victim as they were. Still, she does have to wear an ankle bracelet and after so long of a time it will be probation.
Y & R Spoilers – Victoria Newman’s Other Children Are Away In School, One Grown

Victoria shows pictures and tells Claire about her other children-Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Lebeau) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) and adopted son Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).
She hasn’t talked to them about Claire yet, but will when she thinks they are ready to handle it, especially considering Katie’s age although Reed is grown.
Claire has some questions about why Katie and Johnny are in a private school away instead of living at home, and Victoria explains they had been safer there until recently.
That makes sense to Claire, and Victoria tells her about her cousins, Nick Newman’s (Josh Morrow) children and also brings her up to speed on the rest of the family tree.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Enough Family Tree, More You And Me
Cole stops by to have a family dinner with Victoria and Claire, trying to help her see what a normal family should be like.
They will continue to spend time with Claire like this, and a lot of mother-daughter time and a lot of lost time to catch up.
It will take time and lots of it to try and fix what Jordan destroyed and it won’t be easy; Claire herself wonders whose baby they buried thinking it was her.
That will be investigated as well, but it’s been a long time ago and right now, they know she didn’t and it’s enough.
It will be a slow process, but they’ve got all the time in the world to get to know baby Eve all grown up and her to really know them.
