Billy has been and remains a handful. Oh, he is experiencing a period of seeming stability. And yes, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is having a positive effect on him, just as Victoria did during so many periods in the past. But those stretches of time always ended.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Romanticizes The Past
Can any hardcore Y&R fan dismiss the prediction that Billy will, at some point, find something about Lily that causes him distress? Of course not.
Lily, like Victoria, was very cautious when it came to Billy. Khalil’s character dated him many years ago, when they were youthful characters. But that personal memory is not what caused Lily to consider if she wanted to become involved with him. Instead, she is aware of his stormy personal history, which includes Villy’s stops and starts, along with all Billy’s other foibles.
Billy is impulsive. So, if he believes that Lily has lost trust in him will be primed to become unsure of himself. Billy is using Lily as his basis in believing that he has steadied himself. If that perception is damaged or lost, Victoria is positioning herself as his return-to option.
Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Becomes Exhausted
Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) asked Lily to co-head Chance Com because she knows that her son needs a stabilizing influence. To his credit, Billy is not shy about admitting his faults. Although even that could be harshly tagged as a projection of self-absorption.
As a parent herself, Lily appreciates Billy’s role as a father in his young children’s lives. She also knows that Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) loss will always influence elements of his life.
All that is Billy has initially intrigued many women over time. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is just one lady who found herself attracted to the nature of his free spirit. But after a varying period of time everyone seems to grow tired of the all consuming atmosphere.
Lily can surely become exhausted and then send him packing.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Can’t Stop Loving Villy
The concept of Villy is great. Two people who love each other. The cozy family home, with two children they adore. That does feel theoretically wonderful.
But the reality of actually being with Billy and sustaining a relationship with him, even if broken and revived many times, is only something that Victoria has been able to pull off. She can not stop loving the idea of Villy and Billy himself.
Two of the ways that Victoria can win Billy back have been detailed. But there are plenty of other scenarios that can produce another edition of Villy, as devoted fans know.
