Chaos will erupt if Nikki decides to step down to spend time with Victor and her grandchildren. Victor will want Nick to run Newman Enterprises with Victoria, who will consider that a slap in the face. She will realize her father doesn’t trust her to run the company alone, resulting in epic Newman family drama.

Nick would probably accept the position. It would be better drama if he got a huge power trip over the newfound co-CEO spot and rubbed it in his sister’s face that she needed him to keep her job.
