Ashland clearly had a motive for marrying Victoria and it certainly wasn’t love. Fans will soon find out exactly what Ashland’s motivation is and if he faked the cancer story.

Even though Victoria puts on the act as if she’s in love, she knows something is off. There have been a few times when Victoria’s face let on that she was questioning her decision about Ashland. However, she hasn’t said anything and probably won’t until it’s already too late.

Victoria has always wanted to climb to the top. She has also never been shy about her greed. However, it seems to be amplified by 100 now that she’s knee-deep in her marriage to Ashland. It seems that Ashland is rubbing off on her and not in a good way. During a recent episode, Victor had to call out Victoria and remind her who created the empire, to begin with. That’s not going to stop her, though.

Victor is playing a game right now. Sure, he wants to know the truth about Ashland. However, Victor is also playing games with Victoria. Victor is no dummy and knows that his daughter is out of control. The tipping point very well could have been when Victoria made it known she’s targeting Victor’s legacy.

Right now, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is questioning what Victor is doing. Adam thinks that Victor might not trust him now. Adam also assumes that Victoria will always be Victor’s favorite child. However, Victor might not be telling Adam everything. After all, Adam sometimes gives hints or warnings to his rivals. If Victor’s plan is going to succeed, then it needs to come as a complete surprise.

Victor could have a plan to expose and destroy Ashland while also teaching Victoria a valuable lesson. Just when Victoria thinks she has everything in her grasp, Victor will take it all away in one sweeping gesture. Victoria might be Victor’s daughter, but there are lines you don’t cross with the patriarch. After it’s all said and done will Victoria crawl back to Victor and beg for forgiveness?
