The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Paging Doctor Nate Hastings

As Y&R fans know, Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) can no longer perform surgery. The confrontation he and his cousin, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), had led to a terrible fall where Nate badly cut his hand. The result meant that this surgeon isn’t able to function in that role indefinitely.

However, Nate scored a sweet alternative gig as the face of an online medical site. That’s allowing him to make a living, while he continues as a consultant for the Newman family’s endless stream of needs.

Nate told Victoria that he would confer with some oncologist colleagues, with the intent of providing her with current information about any reasonable options that Ashland could explore.

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Conscious Of Reality

Surely paper straws were available at Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) restaurant. But Victoria didn’t ask Nate to have a drink at Society when she was seeking his advice.

Heinle’s character is realistic about Ashland’s condition, while remaining hopeful that he will at least consider whatever information Nate is able to provide. The problem for Victoria is Ashland’s determined attitude.

Ashland isn’t interested in what would be considered negligible amounts of time being gained by long-shot procedures or pharmaceutical therapies.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke Isn’t Long For Genoa City

Burgi’s character, along with Elizabeth Leiner’s (Tara Locke), and Kellen Enriquez (Harrison Locke) are new members of the cast. As it stands, Burgi seems destined to be a short-term player, barring remission or a reveal that Ashland has been faking his disease.

Tara’s time in Genoa City, Wisconsin, seems tied to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) learning the full truth about her. As for Harrison, with Mealor departing it would seem that Enriquez won’t be on screen for much longer.

Ashland wants to make the most of his remaining months on the planet. Victoria supports him, but wants to have hope. If anyone can will Ashland into exploring experimental efforts Victoria can. Here’s hoping that happens and or the remission angle is written on Y&R.
