The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease The Young and the Restless has been lacking a classic murder mystery for some time now, but it seems like that might be changing. With Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stirring up trouble with Jabot and Chancellor, there’s no shortage of potential suspects in this attempted murder mystery.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Has A Strong Appetite For Revenge
Victor has truly shown his ability to turn the tables on Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and make her pay for her actions-which showed his appetite for revenge.
It’s clear that he has a strong desire for revenge, which is in line with his ruthless nature-longtime viewers remember why that cage was built.
Even after letting Jordan go, his thirst for revenge has only intensified, especially when it comes to Jack (Peter Bergman).
Victor’s inability to forgive Jack for his actions at The Athletic Club has only fueled his desire for payback, and Victor can’t let go of their past.
This whole scenario doesn’t really say much for his supposed trust of his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) either.
Y & R Spoilers – Jack Abott’s Gamble Paid Off, But At What Cost?
Jack’s risky move paid off when Nikki agreed to and received the help she needed, but Victor is far from appreciative.
In fact, he went as far as to express his wish that Jack had died in the hotel room that night and attempted to bar Jack from being around his wife.
Jack foolishly disregarded Victor’s tough-guy attitude, and it may soon prove to be the downfall of the Abbott patriarch-as fans are aware, Victor is now deeply involved in a revenge scheme.
He snatched Glissade from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) for a company to rival Jabot-to add insult to injury Victor hired Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to run the new business.
On top of that, Victor reinstated Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as the head of Newman Media to support Glissade, undermining Jabot (but only to a certain extent as per Adam’s approval).
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Was Already Upset, And Now Another Family Member’s In Victor’s Crosshairs
Jack was already fuming over Victor’s interference with Kyle, but with more trouble brewing on the horizon, the Abbott patriarch is gearing up to unleash his wrath on his long-time rival.
Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) is also not pleased with Victor’s antics; shifting gears, let’s focus on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Once again, he has managed to irk Victor with his decisions.
Victor is not happy with Billy Boy’s push for the demerger of Chancellor-Winters, seeing it as a direct attack on Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) legacy.
In the episode airing on July 23, Victor dropped a bombshell: he plans to go after Chancellor and wants Nikki to take charge.
Y & R Spoilers – Kicking The Abbotts Hornet Nest?
Victor’s kicking the Abbott hornets’ nest and it’s only a matter of time before someone strikes back-the tension between Victor and Jack, Diane, and Billy, is reaching a boiling point.
If something were to happen to Victor, all eyes would be on these three as the prime suspects; Jack, in particular, has always been Victor’s biggest adversary.
Will he be the one to take the fall if Diane and Billy are proven innocent-the stage is set for a dramatic showdown in the world of daytime drama.
But the Abbotts aren’t murderers-even Diane only faked deaths, in particular her own, so who else is there to add to a list of prime suspects?
Even though Tucker is offscreen and Jordan’s safely tucked in a supermax prison, never say never in a soap-either one of them would have reasons to want to take Victor out!

Victor needs to leave Jack a lone enough is enough
I agree, Victor should pay for his actions.
Leave Jack and Billy alone
Jack saved his wife’s life putting his on the line, why should he now pay.
Billy? Don’t get me started, he is a nice guy, why is he always after him? What has he done lately to upset Victor?
Victor always finds excuses to punish people.
Enough!!
Billy should be a good guy In this story, he should make Chancellor a power house company.
Is Victor mafia? We know he’s killed people or his minions have. Weird the police never talk to him about anything. He literally gets away with everything. Talk about a control freak…he’s the worst of the worst. Nikki isn’t looking too good lately. How could she be living with him? He doesn’t care what the rest of the family thinks and seems to enjoy running roughshod over them. These are his people so why does he think they should just say “How High” when he says “jump”.
