The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may go too far in his ploy to manipulate Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). A couple of weeks ago, Victor showed up at Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) apartment for a chat.

After the visit with Chelsea, Victor determined that Chelsea was unstable and he needed to fight for custody of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). It will lead to an epic showdown between Victor and Adam.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Victor won’t stop harassing Adam about returning to the family fold. What Victor means by that is he wants Adam to work with him and allow Connor to spend time at the ranch. Adam isn’t sure that’s a good idea. Every time he’s worked at Newman Enterprises, it was a colossal nightmare.

The Young and the Restless spoilers state that after Victor visited Chelsea, Adam came unglued. He informed his father that Chelsea was off-limits, and he wasn’t invited to stop by her place.

Victor didn’t seem upset by Adam’s spiel. He told Chelsea to call him if she needed a break from Connor or needed anything. After Victor left, Chelsea thought the conversation went well with Victor. Adam disagreed. He thinks his dad is up to something and urges her not to trust him.

Victor seems hellbent on getting Adam fired from Jabot and forcing him to return to Newman Enterprises. Victor expressed concern for Chelsea. He wanted to ensure she was getting all the help she could, so she could be there for his grandson.

But Victor could use her mental health struggles against her and sue for full custody. Of course, he wouldn’t succeed, but it would get under Adam’s skin.
