However, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could not bring himself to remain at the company. He feels more than slighted by Victor.
Adam believes his father does not value him and will never enable a scenario where he can prove his worth. So, as he said, he is out.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Is Toasted
Longtime fans know that Nick’s toast to his father is further affirmation that all is well between both men. They have often been at odds, with business serving as a proxy for whatever personal angst was between them in the past.
TPTB wrote Morrow’s character back to Newman Enterprises for the first time in a while. The build-up was naturally developed, with Nick needing time to consider if this was best for all involved.
The future is not inevitable, as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) told Nick. This time may be different because he has more mature.
Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Gains More Than Before
Not too long ago, Victoria wanted to run what was Newman-Locke with her husband. But Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was not who she ever assumed him to be.
The cancer lie did more than break Victoria’s trust. It set her on a path to exact justice, similar to how her father responds when someone crosses him and goes after the Newman family.
Victoria’s plan to reclaim the remainder of the half-billion Victor paid him to leave the company and agree to an annulment was masterful. But, as Nick said, Victoria has to know that the Lockeness Monster will not allow his defeat to stand.
Heinle’s character feels Ashland was demoralized and believes he is not a threat. She is riding high after reclaiming her life and attaining more at Newman Enterprises without Ashland than she recently had while he was by her side.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Holds On
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was thrilled to be appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Newman Media. Her Chief Operating Officer role was more than she could have ever hoped for. So, the quick promotion implied that great days were ahead as long as Adam led Newman Enterprises.
Victoria’s return to Newman’s top spot and Adam’s choice to leave the company leaves Sally with no backup. Victor is encouraging Victoria to make a change, but she wants to reconsider Hope’s character at a later plot point.
All Sally can do is hold on. Like Adam, her performance will not overcome Victoria’s perception anytime soon, if ever.

Victor is a nasty old fool. What he’s doing to his children, trying to force them to work together when they dont get on is at best foolish and at worst spiteful. I would like to see Sharon take over New Hope, I think it would be a great fit for someone so compassionate. Then Noah could take over the coffee shop and turn it into a venue where artists would like to hang out and inspire each other.
I don’t like how the writer doing Adam Nikki and her children sitting up looking down on Adam that’s wrong I don’t like the writing of the show now I’m gonna stop watching
