1) Fight With Nikki Changes Victor
Victor’s scheming is out of control and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has had enough of Victor bullying Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and the use of the illegal AI program.
Victor has compromised Jack’s family business and could ruin Jabot. In the December 19 episode Victor told Nikki to get out after she crabbed at him so is the romance over?
We predict that Nikki and Victor work things out eventually but in the meantime their estrangement could cause a revelation for Victor.
2) Unexpected NE Shocker
Her role at Newman Media has become an issue for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). To this end she could defect from the company and maybe even take Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with her.

This would make Victor think twice about how he rules with an iron fist. If Chelsea leaves and Adam stays, he will have a chip on his shoulder. How can he work well with an attitude? Will Adam strike out at Victor over Chelsea’s departure if it comes to that?
3) Matt’s Presence is Eerie
With Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) in Genoa City we expect tons of chaos to rain down.
Victor is focused on taking down the Newman clan and thus his focus is divided. Will this leave him vulnerable to Matt’s shenanigans? Matt could become the Newman family’s worst nightmare if he puts his mind to it.
This means Nikki, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) among others are in danger.

This needs to be priority number one for Victor, not going after old ghosts. However, Victor is set in his ways and it could take a major epiphany for him to change.
Even Victor is capable of change, will three events shock him back into reality and a nicer persona for 2026?
