According to Soap Opera Digest, it’s been confirmed that Vincent Stalba has been cast as Dumas’ assistant, Carter. On Wednesday we will see the man behind the myth.

Carter has a recurring role so it looks like the show is fully committed to the Dumas storyline.
For his part Stalba is thrilled to be on the number one rated daytime drama and teased on Instagram some headshots.

He captioned the pics “New Headshots! These photos just helped me book my 1st series recurring, which you will see in 2 days on CBS!! Can’t wait to tell you more!”

He’s worked in film and television and his work has premiered at the following film festivals: Aspen Shortsfest, Fantastic Fest, Fantasia, Beyond Fest, New Orleans Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, and more. His acting credits include The Glades, Claws, and For the Love of Jason.

It will be interesting to see how Carter fits into the current mystery surrounding Dumas. Dumas is a legendary businessman but no one seems to know who he is or what he looks like.
