The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, April 8 – Kyle & Theo Square Off At Jabot – Traci & Amanda Get Job Offers – Nate & Amanda’s Big Date

Kyle Abbott, Michael Mealor - Young and the RestlessThe Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, April 8, tease that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will pay a visit to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at Chancellor Media. The friends will visit, and Traci will discuss how challenging things have been with Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) as of late. Soon, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will arrive and greet his sister, accepting Traci’s dinner invite.

While Traci steps aside for a call, Lily will approach Billy with the idea of bringing Traci to Chancellor Media to run the fiction division – they could even publish her next novel! Traci will be intrigued by the idea and will tell them she’ll consider it. Billy will love the idea and will tell Lily that she’s full of good ideas.

Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will chat with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Theo will be concerned about his upcoming talk with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) over the whole Dina fiasco at the Abbott mansion last night. Theo will get a message from Jack, and he’ll note that it’s time to learn his fate.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott Issues A Challenge To Theo Vanderway & Kyle Abbott

Next on Y&R, at Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Jack, and Theo will meet. Jack will tell Theo and Kyle that he won’t let their toxicity harm the family or the company any longer. Jack will blast them over involving Dina in their mess, and he’ll announce a new challenge for them. Jack will explain that he’s decided to end Jabot Collective and that there will be a rebrand.

Jack will give Kyle and Theo seven days to each come up with a rebrand plan, and Jack will choose the one to ultimately lead the way. Later, Kyle will talk with Summer Newman (Hunter King) about the challenge, and Summer will say that she’ll be his secret weapon and there’s no way Theo can win against them both.

Over at the New Hope clinic, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will show up to relieve Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), who will have a date later with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Elena will remark that it’s about time the two of them go out, and that Nate should take things slowly given what Amanda’s been through.

Next on Y&R, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will see Amanda at Society, and they’ll all discuss Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) capture. Jill will even go so far as to declare a truce with Amanda and offer her an apology before taking off. Devon will then offer Amanda a position handling the legal end of New Hope. Amanda will say that she’ll think about it.

Theo will arrive to talk with Lola, and he’ll be a bundle of nerves over the Jabot challenge that Jack issued earlier. Theo will feel like the deck is stacked against him, and he’ll want to prove himself to Jack. Lola will encourage Theo, and he’ll get more encouraged and eventually leave to get to work. Later, Summer will drop by to pick up food, and she and Lola will bicker about who will win Jack’s contest.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott Turns Down Jill Abbott’s Invitation

Next on Y&R, Jill will catch up with Jack at Crimson lights. Jill will spill that Colin is in jail and that she has filed for divorce. Jack will still be preoccupied with Dina and the situation with Kyle and Theo, which he’ll share with Jill. Jill will then invite Jack to St. Tropez with her, but he’ll decline – he won’t be able to leave Dina right now.

Meanwhile, over at the New Hope clinic, Devon will update Elena on his job offer to Amanda. And at the Grand Phoenix, Amanda and Nate will head out on their date together. Finally, on Wednesday’s new episode of Y&R, Kyle and Theo will verbally spar at Jabot over the contest they’re now involved in.
