Y&R spoilers reveal that Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) was stunned to learn that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is dropping Ashland Locke’s (formerly played by Robert Newman) death investigation.

Despite Kevin’s concerns, Chance said the decision was already made and had been cleared by the chief of police. Kevin is worried that this could come back to haunt them. However, Chance said he wasn’t changing his mind.

What Chance doesn’t know is that the conversation was overheard by Adam. Fans watched as Adam confronted Kevin and reminded him that Chance is a Newman by marriage.

Y&R Spoilers  – Who Is Lucas Prentiss?

On Wednesday, August 24, Adam will recruit some help in his scheme to take down the Newman family. This new character is named Lucas and is being played by Aaron Schwartz).

All that is known is that Lucas will help Adam with a nefarious scheme. This scheme could involve it being “leaked” that Chance swept evidence under the rug to protect Victor. It is teased that Kevin will realize that Adam has the upper hand. If Adam gets his way, Victor won’t be the only one facing consequences. Kevin, Chance and the chief of police could also be in the hot seat.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 24 reveal that Victor will defend his actions. Victor feels that he did the right thing to protect Nick and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). However, Chance doesn’t think like Victor. So, Chance might accept Victor’s explanation but he will have a hard time dealing with his decision.

It is teased that Wednesday’s episode will also feature Nick relishing in his new role. Since Nick is still at Newman Enterprises, maybe he puts all his focus on work. Nick will still feel like he should tell Chance the whole story. However, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) gave Nick some advice.

What Nick and Sharon don’t know is that the truth is about to be blown wide open. Not only is Adam using the conversation he heard to get revenge, but Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) is also investigating Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Talia’s investigation could backfire and put the spotlight directly on the Newman family’s latest secret.

      I’m looking forward to seeing Adam get the upper hand for once. But also don’t want to see him hurt his friend Chance even though Chance gave in so much for doing what’s right. I also want to see Adam take the job at Jabot I think it will be great for him and maybe he will back off the getting revenge on Victor thing. And if anyone knows if Mark Grossman/Adam a new multi year contract I sure like to know. He is my favorite character.
