At GCAC, Ashley and Kyle offer to compare notes with Lauren and Phyllis. Lauren feels Billy is about to cut Fenmore’s loose and she wants to beat him to the punch. Summer spies their private meeting and immediately calls Billy; he sends a group text for an impromptu meeting.
Lily Tells Devon She Confessed
Lily arrives at HWG. Devon has a hard time looking at her, but she tells him she told Paul everything and isn’t sure what she’s looking at legally but she will deal with whatever comes. She wants to know what Devon thinks and he refuses to congratulate her on something she should have done in the first place. Lily insists that she didn’t know, but Devon feels she should have gone to the police on her own volition. Neil tries to mediate as Devon says it was Shauna (Camryn Hamm) who was her moral compass.
Neil is talking to Devon when Lily reveals she could spend up to 20 years in prison; Neil is livid and feels she wasn’t driving recklessly but Devon disagrees. Lily demands to know what it will take for him to forgive her. Devon doesn’t have an answer as there isn’t one fair for the life of his child and wife.

Sharon Doesn’t Want To Move
Nick finds Sharon dazing off, but when he confronts her; she says she should go home early to study. Nick says it was a short meeting and shows her a house, but she deflects saying the ranch is her “home”. She wants a place that is a reflection of the two of them, Nick is determined to find that place.
Nikki continues to push Sharon, manipulating the situation, saying Faith would be so happy if Victor and Nick would get along. Sharon stands by Nick’s side and says after Victor used her mental health against her during the custody battle, she’s happy to keep him out of their lives. Nikki is shocked to learn that Nick wants them to move off the ranch. Sharon refuses to be the “woman behind the man”, she is proud of Nick for not backing down.
Nikki throws it in Sharon’s face that she is willing to move out of the house she loves, just to please Nicholas. Sharon has had enough of Nikki’s attitude, but suddenly Nikki moans and grabs her hand.

Nikki is there asking Sharon to help her negotiate peace between Nick and Victor; Sharon immediately refuses, but Nikki begs her to listen because Victor only wants this so he can see his grandson.
Sharon apologies for upsetting her and Nikki says its her body telling her to take it easy; she finally admits she would have done the exact same thing for Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She was defending her daughter against that monster, but this time she would have insisted they called the police and trust the DA would believe it was self-defense. Nikki says Sharon was right about Lily because the guilt about keeping this secret is eating her up. She begins to sob.
GC Buzz Will Stay With Mariah and A New Face
Devon returns to the office and Neil says they have business to discuss. All three sit down and he tells them that at the office they need to leave their personal business outside, they accept the rules. Neil agrees to respect Devon’s wishes to keep GC Buzz going, but Lily says the popularity was because of the banter between Hilary and Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Neil suggests they find a new partner for Mariah, but Mariah should be the new host, Devon agrees.

Billy Discloses His Secret Project
Everyone gathers at Billy’s office, where he reveals his project “JaBoutique”. They’re shocked to learn that it’s beyond the planning stages as he has already signed leases in 30 cities.
Lauren snaps at Billy, angrily telling him this will steal customers from her own Fenmore’s cosmetics counter. He says Fenmore’s is a department store, not just cosmetics. Billy understands that Ashley is put out by this but she feels the whole board should have been told about this, Kyle agrees with Ashley and Billy. Phyllis says it is an interesting notion and clearly Billy has done his homework. Ashley is caught off guard, applauds him for wanting to do something different but 30 stores is too much of a risk. She wants to call legal and get out of the leases.
Billy tells everyone that the meeting is not over, he appreciates everything he has heard, but he is CEO and JaBoutique is happening. He assures Lauren that the study he conducted was to ensure Fenmore’s wasn’t affected by it and is confident this will be as successful as the Birthday Suit campaign. He thanks them for their support and dismisses them. Outside the office, Ashley says it will be harder to get rid of him then she thought.

Nick and Victor run into each other at GCAC. Victor asks him if he has gotten into any more fist fights lately. Nick says if he is willing to start one, he is ready to go! Victor warns him that if he wanted to deliver a blow against him, he would have gone to the authorities and told them he was impersonating JT and see how many crimes he had committed – computer hacking, credit card fraud, burglary, etc. Nick feels Victor didn’t reveal everything because then people would know how easy it was for him to dupe his father. Victor says he didn’t because Nick is his son, and he loves him.
Nick believes this is some ploy by Victor, declaring his love. He knows Victor loves his family, but is using their love for what he wants and he won’t tolerate it. Victor says since Nick doesn’t believe him, he has told his investigators to gather as much information against him as they can. Victor tells him he only has it as assurance so Nick will never go after him again. Nick considers himself notified. Victor will never forget that Nick ratted him out to the Feds.
