Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, January 17 reveal that Nikki is out of control. Nikki is trying to handle everything that’s happened lately.

Nikki is also worried about Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and what that means for the future of the Newman family. Claire might have saved Nikki from Jordan (Colleen Zenk). However, that doesn’t mean Claire is safe.

Nikki is also battling her alcoholism. Nikki had another relapse, but Nikki’s behavior was quite theatrical and dramatic. Nikki doesn’t remember much, so it’s possible that she did some things publicly that could end up going viral.

Even though Nikki is determined to get sober again, Lauren feels that her friend is in worse shape than anyone realizes. Lauren turns to Jack for help with Nikki. However, what can Jack do? Jack might have a history with addiction, but Nikki is the only one who can save herself.

The rescue syndrome really should have no place in an addiction story and AA is very strict about sponsors being the opposite gender, but we digress. Perhaps Nikki needs more professional type of help to beat this, such as a rehab facility.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, January 17 reveal that Christine will lose patience with Danny.

Fans watched as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) made a complete fool of herself by practically stripping down to nothing while smooshing her chest on the table in front of Danny. It was quite comical, especially for a woman of that age and the fact that Danny isn’t really interested.

However, Phyllis’ little scheme worked. At least, it half worked. Christine came in to see Phyllis’ lips smothering Danny’s face.

Of course, Christine doesn’t know what Phyllis did to get Danny in that position. Christine also doesn’t realize that Danny just ripped into Phyllis.

In any case, Christine will wonder if Danny can be the man she needs him to be. Really, how hard is it just to walk away from a woman you are supposedly not interested in?

On Wednesday, January 17, fans can also expect Victor to share some words of wisdom with Victoria. This is most likely regarding Victoria’s complicated dynamic with Claire.
