The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 5 reveal that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) pays the price. Summer Newman-Abbott Pays

Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, July 5 reveal that Summer will have to face the music. Summer felt torn between Kyle and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Summer couldn’t tell her mother no, though.

Now Summer is dealing with the fallout of her lies and secrets, which include being kicked out of the Abbott manse. Kyle also recently mentioned being concerned about Summer around Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Since Summer isn’t Harrison’s biological mother – and as far as we know there hasn’t been an off-screen adoption – so, Kyle could weaponize his own son.

Of course, this would be out of character for Kyle. But then again, so is sending one-night stand Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) a pair of diamond earrings!

Y&R Spoilers: Jack Abbott’s Pressure

Summer paying the price might have to do with Jack pressuring Kyle, too. In Wednesday’s episode, Jack will push Kyle to make an important decision. With Kyle determined to divorce Summer, what does that mean for Marchetti?

Kyle will have to step down as Marchetti was technically handed to Summer, not to “Skyle.” Plus, it would be too awkward for Kyle and Summer to continue working together in light of their current marital situation.

However, Kyle can’t be Jack’s right-hand man, either. Jack already hired Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for that role.

Devon Hamilton’s Proposition

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 5 reveal that Devon will make a surprising proposition to Lily. Recently, a lot of Devon’s storylines and conversations have revolved around honoring Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) legacy. So, Devon’s proposition might have something to do with that.

On the other hand, Devon and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) were recently approached by Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Chance wants to change his son’s “home base” due to the child having adjustment difficulties. So, maybe Devon will have an idea that requires Lily’s help.

It’s possible that Devon will offer the penthouse to Lily. After all, Devon and Abby will agree to Chance’s proposition since it’s in Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (River and Rainn Ware) best interest.
