The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 30, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will receive the story about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) from Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) as he’s sitting in Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) office at Chancellor Communications. Over at the penthouse, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be listening to what’s going on at the office via the listing device.

Billy will read the title of the article, which is “Adam Newman: The Making Of A Monster.” Adam and Chelsea will be horrified as they hear Billy’s words. Meanwhile, Billy will text Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), saying that the story is ready to go. Lily will enter the office and tell Billy that they need to properly vet the article, but Billy will be itching to publish it. Chelsea and Adam will continue to listen in on Billy and Lily’s conversation.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Lets A Big Secret Slip

Next on Y&R, Billy will call Amanda and put her on speakerphone, and Amanda will share that she isn’t in agreement that the story is ready to go, and Amanda will think that this whole thing is too personal for Billy. Billy will argue with Amanda, saying that risks are ok – after all, Amanda took a risk to get to the truth about Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).

Lily will wonder what Billy means, and soon Lily will learn that Hilary and Amanda are twins. Lily will be shocked, but ultimately she and Amanda will decide to keep this conversation strictly about business. Amanda will agree to spend more time with the article and get back with Billy and Lily. After having listened to all of the back and forth about the article, Chelsea and Adam will decide that it’s time to call in the cavalry.

Adam will then call Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who will be talking with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the Newman Ranch. Victor will be trying to get Nick to help keep Billy from exposing the family’s secrets, and Nick will be balking. Adam will ask Victor to do something to keep Billy from publishing his story. Victor will agree to do what he can.

Y&R Spoilers – Abby Newman Shares A Painful Experience With Chance Chancellor

Next on Y&R, at Society, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will talk with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Chance will wonder if he scared her with all his talk about settling down and children. Abby will tell a chance about her miscarriage five years ago, and Chance will start to understand why Abby reacted in the way that she did. Abby will feel overwhelmed, and she’ll rush off to work.

At Chancellor Communications, Billy will take a call from Chelsea, who will try to convince him not to publish the article. Billy will wonder how Chelsea knows about the article, and as they talk, Billy will find the listening device in his office. Billy will angrily end the call with Chelsea, and Chelsea will discover that she can no longer listen in to Billy’s conversations.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Refuses To Get In The Middle Of The Newman Family Drama

Meanwhile, at the Grand Phoenix, Nick will meet up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in her suite, and he’ll say that Victor thinks that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heine) and Billy are working together on a story to take down Adam. Phyllis will think that Nick should stay out of the whole thing, and Nick will ultimately indicate that he has no desire to protect Adam.

In the lobby, Chance and Adam will meet, and Chance will say that according to his sources, the big story that’s about to explode will probably have more than a little information about what happened in Vegas. Adam will say that if he had to do it all over again, he wouldn’t change a thing. Chance will nod in agreement.

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Opens Up To Billy Abbott

Next on Y&R, Amanda will arrive at Chancellor Communications to see Billy, and Billy will apologize for telling her personal business to Lily. Amanda and Billy will chat a bit about Amanda’s search for information on Hilary and about the loss of her sister in general. Amanda will share that she feels a profound sense of loss, and that she has found no record of Hilary’s birth in Evanston, Illinois, so Amanda will assume that she and Hilary were probably born outside of a hospital.

Over at Society, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will notice that Abby is on the lookout for someone, and she’ll ask what’s going on. Abby will share her previous conversation with Chance about children, and Mariah will urge Abby not to let her fears about children hold her back from a great future.

Soon, Chance will arrive at Society, and Abby will tell Chance that she loves children and that she loves the idea of having children with him. Chance will be pleased, and Abby will say that for now, the best she can offer is that maybe someday she’ll be up for it. Chance will think that sounds great, and he’ll want every moment he can get with Abby.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Threatens Billy Abbott, Who Gets The Ultimate Revenge

Back at Chancellor Communications, Victor will arrive to talk with Billy. Victor will want to dissuade Billy from publishing the story, and Victor will say that Billy will suffer if he publishes his smear job. Victor will say that Billy is overconfident and that overconfidence and hubris are two of his major flaws. Billy will fire back that Victor brought all of this on himself.

Victor will then defend himself, saying that you’re supposed to protect your children, unlike Billy who failed in that department. Billy will order Victor out of the office, and Victor will say that Billy will rue this day for the remainder of his life. After Victor leaves, Billy will pick up his phone and his “send” on the article out of spite. Lily will rush in the room and ask Billy what he just did.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Learns About Dina Mergeron’s Mysterious Necklace

Next on Y&R, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), will meet over at Crimson Lights. Traci will share that she found out some details about Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) mysterious emerald necklace. Traci will say that the necklace belonged to a princess and that it was stolen and went missing for centuries.

It seems that from there, the necklace was sold on the black market during World War II when a GI purchased the necklace for his girlfriend. Jack will be worried that Dina might have been the girlfriend in this equation, but Traci will say that’s not what happened. Jack and Traci will guess that perhaps John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) might have bought the necklace later for Dina. Ultimately, Jack and Traci will vow to explore some more about this necklace, which is referred to as the “teardrop of love” in the folklore.
