Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is surprised to find Devon (Bryton James) at HWG, but even more shocked to hear he stopped a Judge to speak out on Lily’s behalf. He doesn’t forgive her but has to believe it was going to be a whole lot worse than the 12-months he gave her. Devon blames himself, but Mariah says its because of him, she will be out before he knows it and he saved her years of misery. He thanks her from saying it, but it will take time to process it. She leaves but promises to only be a phone call away.

Summer (Hunter King) barges into her apartment, allowing her mom, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to claim this one but round two is going to knock her on her ass. Summer finds a note “Welcome Home. Billy and I moved out. You’re on your own. Lucky you! Mom”

At the Abbott home, Phyllis warns Kyle (Michael Mealor) he will need to duck for cover as a Summer storm is coming. Phyllis says that Summer thinks she is Phyllis Jr. but she can bring it, as she has no idea what Mommy is capable of!

Clearly, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) is having a hard time adjusting to the coffeehouse and Mariah arrives just in time to help her.

Cane tries to calm the situation at home, while he makes their big waffle breakfast, as usual, not making anything different, as their mom made them promise. He looks in the fridge and finds there is no whipped cream as Mattie reminds him, mom always buys it. Kyle says he is working from home today, as it is Matinee Day with Dina (Marla Adams).

He reminds Phyllis it is all about Dina and her life, reminding Phyllis this is about her, things are only getting worst and if this keeps her from forgetting the worst, then it doesn’t matter. Phyllis thinks its kind of beautiful how he dotes over a woman who doesn’t even know who he is.

Summer arrives at the door and starts arguing with Phyllis; Dina demands to know what is going on. Summer calls her mother a kidnapper; but Phyllis says her daughter pushed her luck and was lucky to get off as easy as she did.

Nate (Brooks Donnell) checks in on Devon, saying he shouldn’t blame himself. Lily’s confession was to make it right with him and herself and he should feel nothing but pride for standing up for her. Nate suggests filling out paperwork to see her, but Devon leaves the table without answering about going to see her.

Charlie doesn’t want to go to school. Cane says they have to keep moving one foot in front of the other and he’s already arranged a visit with Lily. Mattie promises to look after Charlie, saying this is a twin thing. Cane gets distracted by Sam and Charlie says a friend is going to pick him up and Mattie leaves.

Kyle orders Phyllis and Summer to leave, but Dina insists if they are staying to speak louder so she doesn’t have to strain to hear them. As they talk about cheaters and liars, Kyle attempts to stop them again, but there is no stopping Summer as she says. “like mother, like daughter, ad you just keep proving it!”

Tessa insists she isn’t getting Mariah involved in this one but Mariahs says Tessa is “her person” and she is helping her. Charlie walks in and wants an iced coffee but when she asked about his bogus excuse about a teach conference, when she turns back, he is gone.

Phyllis hands Summer the phone, betting if she calls Billy (Jason Thompson) that they would be the ones who survive, while it will be Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) who don’t and the only person who will hate her is Faith. Dina is intensely listening their entire conversation before she yells at Kyle to make them stop. He drags Summer out, who says its not over; Kyle says which tea she needs and how long before her nurse comes.

Devon meant every word he said to and about Lily, but time will never fix things. Lily took away his wife and child.

Phyllis suggests she’d like to go for a walk with Dina, but Lauren (Tracey E Bregman) calls and Phyllis asks Dina sits outside to wait for her. Kyle and Summer sit at Crimson talking about what Phyllis did to her. Phyllis hangs up but when she heads outside, Dina has gone missing on the Abbott grounds. Summer is brought up to date on Mariah and Tessa being a couple while they learn Summer spent some “me” time on the yacht.

Tessa finds Devon inside Crimson, ashamed about everything and the way she left HWG; he wants to know what she wants. Nate visits Cane, who says he is managing, Mattie is doing great with Sam but they can’t visit with Lily for at least 48 hours; and Charlie doesn’t want to go to school. Nate is worried that Devon will never stop hurting.

Phyllis still can’t find Dina. Kyle leaves Summer at the coffee house. Tessa explains to Devon what happened with Crystal, but he says she needs to find someone else who doesn’t know her as well as he does, especially after he stole those lyrics.

Kyle comes home and tells Phyllis he has a tracker in Dina’s purse. Phyllis shares how terrified she was as this is the new normal. Phyllis has a new admiration for Kyle. Summer sends a text to Billy, asking if he wants to see her new tan lines.

Tessa sends Mariah a message saying she misses her, but then Devon arrives at Mariah’s door asking if he can speak to her. Mariah says Tessa came back to town to be with her, but when Devon explains that she asked him for a lot of money; Mariah explains it’s for her own protection. He doesn’t buy it.
